I've never played a flight simulator game before so I dont really know a lot about it but it sounds like a game where you create your own fun with your imagination/curiosity, kind of like minecraft in a way. I dont see how dsp could pull off more than an hour of this and not bore himself and his audience to death. At least with minecraft his fans could tell him what to build or what materials to gather while he aimlessly plays a game he doesn't care about and doesn't possess the creativity to even entertain himself with.

It does have the potential for phil to pigsplain aviation or engineering concepts though which would be hilarious so I guess that's something to look forward to.

I'm assuming that the console version will have a simplified control scheme available? Although DSP did once try to control a plane using only the ailerons, so who knows what will happen.

No, he moved off screen, counted to 25, returned on the chair, bragged about how he did 25 real push ups, then remembered he has to be out of breath so he pretended to be winded.

There's definitely some control scheme ya can use a regular controller with. There is no way Dave could handle a flight stick, though I don't think that would stop him from buying one that will immediately get thrown into his storage horde along with all his other unused accessories.

MS Flight sim stream is basically just gonna be the same as Dave talking over a video, 99% of the time it's just doing nothing. Now for a competent streamer this would be fine, but Dave relies on the game itself to be entertaining.

This is actually kinda similar to when he was signing onto some partnership after he got booted from Machinma and he noticed that the URL's for one of his channels were misspelled or something. According to Dave, he felt that this would void the entire contract and he would use this information to bail in the event that it didn't work out the way that he wanted.

Basically, Dave follows the exact wording of anything out there and if there's something that wasn't written down he'll exploit it as a loophole. He basically has a cartoon level understanding of laws.

EDIT: Holy fuck, Phil. You did NOT do 25 pushups in that amount of time. We know your noodle arms couldn't possibly lift those mantits. You probably didn't even do ONE proper pushup, full 90-degree bend and all. And no, humping the floor doesn't count.

The funniest part about it: If he actually did 25 push ups so quickly and with so little effort, he would've just as easily done them again on camera. Being all huffy about the donator demanding proof is proof enough that he's a phony.

Excuse my lateness but nothing I could do, but all this Xbox talk reminds me of the PS5 unboxing video where he actually did turn his camera 180 degrees to show him hooking it up onto the Dusty Hoarding Gaming Center he calls a set-up. So first of all, he can move the camera that easily(he did do this live). Second, he would possibly be doing push-ups right in front of that mess of a floor.

That was probably the most pathetic lie he has gone with. I was surprised he went as far as he did because it came off as the most half-ass joking lie I've heard and really tried to keep going with it. No fuckin' way he can pull out 25 push-ups like that.

This lie is up there for me. His saggy Rocky the flying squirrel arms cannot possibly lift even half his weight. I cannot imagine he even got on the ground.

I played a lot of FSX, the only somewhat entertaining way I can think of presenting it to a viewing audience is if:

• You play online with other players, real people behind the planes and air traffic control. Some flight servers are really heavily moderated ruling with an iron fist if you taxi to the run way without your taxi lights on you risk being banned from some (some of them are real puzzle pieces)
• Are reasonably knowledgeable about air law
• Probably playing with random failures enabled cuz engine one and three failing during take off and doing a successful landing after can be fun
• Making it more challenging (think Dark Souls of simulator games dood) by doing night flights, ILS landings, using real world flight chart data in game.

Phils none of those things so he might just fly the cessna around seattle and connecticut commenting on how real /fake it is inbetween dead air.
