Unless you're an aviation fanatic, or someone who gets bored and likes fucking around, I don't see the appeal of Flight Sim. Sure, it seems to be a huge improvement over the last one Microsoft put out; but outside of silly shit like those pictures of everyone at the digital Epstein Island or simulating your own 9/11, there isn't much to hold people. The fuck is Phil trying to do by claiming he wants to play flight sim... or is old man age catching up with him and so it calls his name.

I would laugh my ass off and give him a big ups; if he roleplayed as a commercial pilot, and simulated LAX to Narita or something, while having a small screen play some movie and say "Here's your in flight movie." That way all he needs to do is point the plane towards the destination, engage the auto-pilot, then watch a movie.

It blows my mind that Dsp is getting a Xbox just for gamepass, you would think a professional streamer would just get a pc for higher quality streams. Dsp is somehow lazier than neets on 4chan who research the right lego pieces to buy for their pc. Dsp reminds me a lot of Wings in the same way where they like to preoccupy themselves with new toys, probably because spending money alleviates them of their depression or whatever other mental infliction they have.

While there's plenty of arguments about people wanting shit that just works as opposed to having a powerful machine that can do a lot more than just play games (I support both); Phil definitely falls into the "I just want it to work" category. That's why his laptop is still on Windows 8 and he hasn't updated OBS or whatever in God knows how many years. The moment he starts clicking buttons and something changes, he loses his fucking mind and doesn't have the time to "fix" shit.

I just wanted an Xbox for my REAL LIFE FRIENDS. Luckily I live right next to a MicroCenter store and most of my friends are PC enthusiast. I wanted an Xbox for the people who come over that can't operate a keyboard and mouse. It's just for my friends... HOW? How did he get one without spending alot of money on ebay or whoever?

Correct. This will do nothing to increase his donations beyond the next day or so and people are less likely to buy into the dire straits narrative. I'm looking forward to the excuses when this does nothing for his numbers. It'll only be a few days.
