The "Party Switch" is simply the Republican Party transitioning from a regional party to a national party by competing in the south with racism. This was allowed to happen because the Democrats had gained popularity with their New Dealism, and embrace of civil rights policies. The Republicans were traditionally the party of civil rights, and had a sizable progressive faction, but they had dropped the ball and allowed the Dems to undercut them. They were adapting and naturally embraced the the white southerners upset with the Dems. The worst part about it is that the Dems abandoned their New Dealism and embraced neolibralism once they got the black vote hammered down.

It is a long, boring, fart huffing article written by a 20 something desperate to be liked in DC.

Then other DC political sluts try to rally behind the writer and the poor response to the article. Resulting in this just well placed bomb drop that conservatives need to remember for insulting the media:

Texas has enough problems already with people moving here (our power grid is being overloaded cause we can't build more due to the environmentalists and we've reached max capacity plus the housing crisis is a thing where not even apartments are available in some areas).

I think people shouldn't be able to leave their "home state" if they constantly voted for their own demise.
