What sucks is that this is the way many places on the internet used to be. It used to be that if one forum ended up becoming a dictatorship where you weren't allowed to criticize the ruling class, there was always somewhere else you could bail out to. Worst comes to worse, you could make your own easily and for free.

Social media sites like Twitter were the Wal-Mart of internet discussion: Hoardes of people joined them because it was so convenient to talk about everything to everyone all in one place, but now when they go bad, there's nowhere else to escape to. Hell, Twitter users have just made it clear that you're not allowed to go anywhere else.

I'm honestly amazed Dreamhost hosted this site as long as it did. I always thought it was a joke and we'd moved off it years ago, because wtf? I knew people who got kicked off Dreamhost literally in the '0s just because someone said "fag" or "nigger" or something. And somehow, we lasted there this long?

I thought the harassment of Dreamhost was just because they were stupid, because obviously, we'd have been kicked off that site years ago.

Congratulations, Dreamhost, you bunch of fucking faggots and niggers, you hosted us much longer than most other hosts would have done.
