I’m not against talking about Vtubers past personas or roommates, but going “hey, here’s a bunch of pictures of them and where they lived and here is the real name of so-and-so” seems to straddle the line of acceptableness, personally. But that’s just my own personal thoughts.

I try to actively avoid any roommate info and it would definitely be appreciated if people put that sort of thing under private tags and in spoilers, I think that would be a reasonable compromise

So we should let one faggot dictate what we can and cannot post on KiwiFarms of all places?
There is only one faggot which dictates what we can and cannot post here and he just so happens to love the dancing duck shuba.

And Null has already dictated that the private tags are for porn and actual doxxs and if the use of the tags for anything else but that becomes widespread, there will be trouble.
I thought specifically for doxes on the first page. So that wouldn't even apply here.

So with EN Vsinger was identify before she even speak the first word on debut stream, and she also ironically momentarily dox herself on Twitter. I wonder how fast HoloEN2 will be identified considered their tentative debut date should be late August to early September
The thing with that though is how easy it actually was to pinpoint candidates. Namirin was already fairly large as an Utaite. Unless any of the EN2 girls are equally as well known, then it won't be as easy.

Also, namirin has a fairly distinct voice. Especially when it comes to singing.

This has been already mentioned but I am legit GIDDY that Null used us in his statement regarding that tranny. And the fact that those faggots at Vice published it.

I'd rather Null use us as cannon fodder than eliminate us. 😍

It would be interesting if there is a way to track number of videos for a group of channels. It would make it easier to see if some indie v-tuber just deletes everything a month or so before the debutes are expected. Social Blade might track that, but I don't know if they do alerts.

Yeah, I agree with you to a certain extent. I personally don't have any issues with sharing pictures of a VTuber's face or sharing their name/location (I.E. country/state, not address) if it's publicly-accessible information that can be found by anyone, but sometimes people do things that blur the line between reasonable curiosity and actual stalking.

An example of what I mean would be when lolcow.farm started digging up things like Gura's extended family members for literally no reason other than the fact that they were related to her, which thankfully got shut down by the jannies. There really is no reason to go searching for things like that, and it crossed the line from reasonable curiosity about the person behind the VTuber to the unnecessary and borderline stalking of her family. Just because something is publicly accessible doesn't necessarily mean that you should dig into it, and there are some moral boundaries that should be held (I.E. not going after unrelated and random people just because they're related to someone).

Yeah, I think that using the spoiler tag would be a good compromise. As we've already mentioned though, we can't use the private tag for it.

It would be nice to do that, yeah. Not sure of any programs/sites that currently do that. I feel like it'd be possible to program something for that, but considering I have no knowledge when it comes to that sort of stuff, nor do I have the patience/time, I'll leave it to others to either make or find something along the lines of that.

Would be interesting to see regardless. Not even for finding possible candidates for new generations, but to also follow any interesting statistical trends that may be occurring.

Ayo, so I tuned into Kiara's superchat stream and she mentioned that Irys has a 2 week ban with HoloEN and a 1 month ban with HoloJP. She expressed her annoyance with management because originally the ban was meant for generations to form some chemistry, but they also want HoloEN to not be addressed with generations.

IMO, NijiEN blows HoloEN out of the water in terms of chemistry. Could be because 2/3's of the group already worked together though. Most planned HoloEN collabs feel like if you put a group of people in a room and paid them to interact.

I guess using the muppet analogy I think it's fine to know the faces of the performers but when we try to look into their personal business like their phone numbers, contact info, and extended family then it crosses the line and becomes pretty deranged.

That's incredibly awkward and doesn't do much for building kinship
