Reddit is threatening to sue the creator of the savevideo bot if he does not shut it down.

For those who dont know, the bot allows you to easily download videos hosted on reddits crappy video hosting service which does not allow downloads without outsude tools. So it was quite popular because it was a normie friendly way to download and save videos from reddit

Of course, people are pissed, but I doubt it will make a difference. Maybe

Just yet another example too how an investor backed sit like reddit starts seeing tools like this as a threat as it starts to grow and try to squeeze every cent from its users

Honestly the mention of kik alone is enough to have my alarm bells ringing. Never seen kik accounts exchanged in a way that did not at least heavily imply unethical porn, let alone illegal.

Communities like open families and sex-positive families always disturbed me. These people don't have to just simply be perverted creeps away from their kids, no, they need to push this on their children. This is allowed on Reddit while criticizing trannies is absolutely forbidden.
