One thing I've noticed is that even when he's telling the truth he still has the body language and language tactics of a liar, it's just not as blatant as when he's telling a lie. He's been lying and bullshitting for so long while living like a hermit and isolating himself from any outside feedback and genuine constructive criticism that lying has become his default state.
Oh for sure. No matter who you are your sanity/brain does need some real human interaction once in awhile. Phil has been a hermit since pretty much moving to washington lol. Since Panda left his hermit life style has been getting progressivley worse as has his chronic lying. He's too far gone now to change. Why would he anyways? He's making 100k a year beggin

All this talk about Phil being a smug asshole about solving Danganronpa’s puzzles makes me imagine just how utterly lost he’d be with a properly difficult mystery game made for adults like Return of the Obra Dinn or Her Story. These games were so challenging and had mysteries that were so convoluted and tangled that I had to boot up Notepad to actually keep tabs on certain details and characters. These games don’t hold your hand either. They give you a brief five minute tutorial to explain the unique tools you’re given to solve the mystery (the pocket watch in Obra Dinn and the sorting program in Her Story) and then send you on your way to make sense of the chaos.

Phil would sit through the tutorial, see the first few freebie scenes that are made to get you going, pay zero attention to any obvious hints, and then immediately whine about how the game doesn’t make anything clear the moment it cuts him loose. The dude is legit too stupid to appreciate any game that gives its players a modicum of independence because he doesn’t really want to experience a game, he just wants to watch a glorified interactive movie and turn his brain off.
In a way I’m glad that he doesn’t play games like the ones you’ve mentioned because it only leads to the patented Goutlord Goatee Scratch where Dave pretends to have figured out the solution to a puzzle or boss mechanic.

Obviously it’s all for show since the answers are either supplied by his wheelchairs or he straight up goes and reads a guide.

People dissecting and/or vacillating between believing Phil’s story versus him having bought the Xbox are wasting their time.

Phil lied, verifiably, to anyone watching, that he needed donations to cover the time he wouldn’t be “working” while he went to Connecticut to visit his ailing parents, and upon his return was all crafty smiles when revealing he’d married Kat, despite both detractors and members of his own audience calling it well in advance. The man fleeced money from retards using a sob story to fly off and marry his whorse wife (with a ceremony and reception that were cheap enough to reasonably believe his parents paid for the whole thing) and then all but bragged about it later. This is all proven.

People who do things like that do not get the benefit of the doubt. End of. Having to present a reasonable alternative to any story he tells is unnecessary. All you need to do is say “Phil is a liar” and dismiss what he says out of hand.

Not trying to quash discussion, just suggesting that this topic is a bit silly (and played out).

I should note that socializing with his wife is probably a thing, but I wonder how limited those interactions are? Of course a wife who's living off your money is different from a friend. DSP could use a good friend more than anything, someone to check some of his insane ideas in a way that he can actually accept and assume isn't an attack. Only problem is his narcissism is too far gone to even begin to form a relationship like that. He treats pretty much everything as an attack because he's so insecure.

I bet his interaction with her is as limited as it looked when he brought her on stream those two times, Just a blank benzo'd out look. She probably stays in her room more than anything outside of cooking mashed potatoes or going to "work". I doubt shes working right now. When he talks to her she probably doesn't care or not listening....maybe even a delayed response from meds. I'd be hard pressed to believe he could keep a friend that is semi-normal plus he'd try to monetize the shit out of it just like his other "friends". After splitting ways he can crap all over his new friend like he has with everyone else that leaves or realizes he is a POS. Yeah that narcissism would get to the friend too.

Recently Phil was asked what shows Kat watched and didn't know. I think when he's forced to sit in the same room as her he stares at his phone while she stares at Skyrim. He's a married man eating Hamburger Helper and microwave lasagna so I doubt there's much warmth there. Phil closing the door when he heard Kat come home makes me think they interact so little he's gotten a bit of social anxiety around her.

We know beyond reasonable doubt that thousands of the dollars he guilt-trips people into giving him to “save his house” are funneled into gacha.
He had people give him $2,000 to reveal a cat he already had, who, despite his promises, only became a more and more diminishing presence on his streams since.
He lied to his own mother that her $4,000 loan would be put towards getting a secondary career going.
Is it REALLY so unbelievable that Phil would spend $900 given to him to “pay muh bills” on a new video game console? It’s not even that new of an excuse, people make fun of “muh bills” all the time. Anyone who thinks about it can know his house obviously wasn’t in danger, even his paypigs. Pawn off all my figurines and outdated consoles? You’re banned. Stream overtime so I can pay my mortgage? Banned.
And the push-up autism. Those are all just a few examples in the grand scheme of things.
Like come the fuck on. Why the fuck shouldn’t our first inkling be “Nah, Phil’s lying”?

He's also been claiming that he no longer watches wrestling or marvel movies. I'm fairly certain he just lies about this stuff so people won't send him spoilers.

Khet's been a confirmed detractor since at least last September, the chair spinning idea was hers.

Maybe it's time for a new animal, Phil. Your son cat doesn't love you, your wife maid horse makes you make fun of yourself no matter if you feed it with expensive takeout and give it a shelter.

Fun fact: Phil has said multiple times in the past that he will destroy any package of piece of mail where he doesn’t recognize the sender.
As such, if he claimed he was spontaneously gifted a SeX out of the blue from a fan, this is a clear lie.
Therefore, he either:
A: spoke with a fan behind the scenes after he ranted about people offering to send him the console but then retracting the offer
B: bought it

Yea but even then... sometimes... even if the devs show him where to go, he cant find it. He is soo dumb.
No, you don't get it. Players like Phil (who as a group, ruin video gaming) need a big GPS arrow pointing in the direction to the next waypoint and a Skyrim compass too, that always points in the right direction. Objects that need to be interacted with have to flash in different colors and you need to be able to complete any mission without paying any attention to what happened before.

Obvious hints from cutscenes don't count, because they'd require an attention span of more than 5 seconds.

Forgive me if it’s already been brought up but what perplexes me about Phil’s claim of a “silent majority” of fans is if such a thing does exist, why does he need to beg almost every stream? Why doesn’t that silent majority step up Phil? Why is it always the same 6-7 people carrying the streams either from their main or sock accounts? Where is this silent majority? It’s nonexistent.

If you could hear them they wouldn't be silent. It's the perfect cope.

He claims he was worried about it being a joke or something other than an Xbox console before it actually arrived but as soon as he saw the box/opened it, he knew it was safe. At that point it could have still been a broken console or some other kind of trick. He would not have actually plugged it in and booted it up on stream if there's was the possibility it could have been bricked or something. He knew this was a brand new console directly from a retailer.

Another part to this whole thing not a lot of people have talked about and is another unlikely occurrence that just happened to align perfectly for phil, is the fact that this fan didn't want recognition for sending phil the Xbox as a gift. Why would you send someone a brand new console for free and not even want some recognition amongst this little fanbase you are supporting? Why do whales have no problem having their internet personas attached to large amounts of tips but when it comes to TVs and consoles, they always want their usernames hidden?

Its just another in a long chain of unlikely events that had to happen perfectly for Phil's story to make sense.
