Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? I dunno, "proven" is an odd concept here. If the narrative molding apparatus wanted to, they could outright say it has been proven while presenting all of what we've seen. It could be said all that we know plus a few brain cells proves the election was stolen. Conversely, multiple instances of hard evidence could exist and through reality bending narrative control be dismissed as flimsy evidence.

Basically it literally doesn't matter what is real or not, the people with power subject you because they can, because we have seemingly lost the ability or willingness to co-ordinate meaningful opposition with our existing bargaining chips.
