Has anyone tried birds nest soup?

A friend gifted me some birds nest they had left over from a family function, I've eaten alot of weird asian food, but never tried birds nest has anyone tried is it good? I got like enough to make a bowl or two. and my friend doesnt like it but bought it for a family wedding their chinese and didnt want to let something so expensive go to waste even the lowest grade can cost you 700 a box.

yeah although I heard people still eat it for the collegan content. oh well mind as well try it it is expensive.
