Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

When it's all but explicitly stated that Blumpf won the damn state, Corporate Media/Press has to strike. And still with the same buzzwords: "Oh yes! There totally was fraud, but was it widespread fraud? No, losers!"

In the end, what catches the center's attention has to hit a few criteria.

The laptop failed all three.

Easy digestibility means they can wrap their heads around what it is and what it means on the face of it. "Hunter Biden had a laptop which had some weird business emails that don't totally confirm corruption but probably should be looked into immediately" is not an easily digestible thing. "The democrats stole the election" is, and easy digestibility is what interests them in looking to see if there is fire to the smoke. this leads to;

Sources. Nobody likes or trusts the media. Period. The numbers on that are so low that its an immovable fact. hence why the censorship has moved on to "Desperately try to make it not be seen at all". The center's primary source of info is word of mouth, what people they know are saying. The problem is that it only spreads if criteria 1 is met. So if you fail 1, you fail 2 in the current era. Same for if you succeed in 1.

Connections. This is where the laptop fails the hardest. "But Biden's son isn't Biden" is really the mindset here. And since there was so little properly connecting Biden himself to any of the alleged stuff it just pittered out with interest on the center. A proper investigation likely would have found something, but there wasn't one sooooo. But again, election fraud emphatically meets this. "Biden won because of fraud" is a -direct- connection to the center.

It did qualify, actually. Which is why around the same time you had several 'suddenly extra bad Trump news!" crop up at the same time. It worked somewhat, but not a lot and showed clear signs of hurting Biden at the polls.

No, there was more to it. The Clinton emails were directly linked to the candidate, where as the Hunter Laptop required a degree of separation for a person, and even more than that for content. Additionally, it was easier to sell and digest. "Clinton deleted potentially sketchy emails she had on a private server" is easier to digest than "Joe Biden's son had a laptop in which there is some evidence that he may have used a Ukrainian company to be able to launder money which may have gone to Joe Biden".
