Fat Acceptance Movement / Fat Girlcows

I had to look up "panniculectomy" as I've never heard of it and based on the before/after images it seems as if they're not only removing skin, but loads and loads of fat mass. Is that correct? I've understood from the past that one of the reasons you can't do much liposuction at a time, is because the body will enter some sort of shock from it which can be quite dangerous. This, I was told, is the reason why you do things like WLS instead to stop the ongoing feeding rather than sucking out the excess weight outright. Now it seems to be that panniculectomy is actually a free pass, because it allows excess fat to be cut out directly without the dangers of liposuction or WLS. I don't think I've ever heard FAs complain about this procedure before, but they do critique WLS and also liposuction quite a lot.
Panniculectomy typically isn't done until a patient has lost a tremendous amount of weight, leaving a heavy, drooping apron of stretched-out skin behind. There may still be a lot of fat deposits left in it, too, but it's mostly skin. The pannus is not only uncomfortable and hinders movement, but prone to developing potentially deadly infections beneath it (just as it is before massive weight loss). So even former deathfats who don't get other skin removal surgeries will get a panniculectomy just to improve their quality of life.

Learningtobefearless is the only fatty I know of who has had a panniculectomy without undergoing massive weight loss first, proving that if you have the money, there's an ethically-challenged surgeon out there willing to do whatever you want.

I found some sites and chimpouts I found amusing but didn't fit my OP or only partially did while working on my Deathfat Sex Workers in the prospering grounds. These are MAJORLY funny.

This is their cover for their site. You literally CANNOT make this shit up.

Some Highlights from the Tumblr pinned post if you don't want to read:

FFL aligns all of our work and actions with the following guiding principles:

🔗Connection

Feedism and Fat Liberation are fundamentally connected with one another. Feedism cannot be enjoyed outside of fat liberation, and feedists are natural allies to the Fat Liberation movement. Envisioning a world where there is liberation for all must include feedist/fat fetish identifying people, and fat liberation offers a framework to support this.

🩺Health

Health has no bearing or involvement with this movement. We reject the medical-industrial complex and healthism in all forms. Health status has no bearing a person’s humanity and worth.

🌞Centering

The most marginalized fat voices will be heard. This includes infinifat people, superfat people, sex workers, fat QTBIPOC, fat BIPOC, fat disabled, and fat queer voices.

⚖️Justice

Feedism and fat liberation intersect with other justice movements. In supporting greater understanding between feedist and fat liberation communities, we will take an intersectional approach that considers feedism/fat liberation as they intersect with other justice movements.

📚Story

We recognize that each person has a story and that story is sacred. We will meet people where they are in their feedism/fat liberation journey.

🙌Shame-Free

We are committed to creating a space that is free from shame, judgement, hostility, coercion, and fear. We are committed to eliminating anti-fat bias/fatmisia in feedist spaces, while also working toward making fat liberation a feedist-positive space.

You can learn more about how feedism and fat liberation intersect on our website fatliberation.org!

They are having a Zoom Event which looks topkek imo.

Another chimpout on Tumblr from someone who is BIG MAD that Body Positivity was stolen from fat jew women to serve NORMAL PEOPLE and not those with ob*sity (yes really). It's a long read so I did it as a comment and not a screenshot

sapphicfeedist
idk maybe it’s because i’m getting chunkier and just feel happy with my body but
is there something about how an intersection of feedism and body positivity can exist? like we as feeders shouldn’t look at body pos models/activists like we do models. but ignoring the entire feedism community is not great on the body pos side, i think
idk it’s like obviously we, as a society, need to not be fatphobic. but it feels like the movement focuses on people who are naturally plus sized or gained because of illness. what is there to say about those who CHOOSE to be fat? not even choose to stay fat but whose ideal bodies ARE plus sized.
this is kind of just rambling and i’m not even that chunky lol but just a thought i’ve been having. what do you guys think!

thaenad
hi! this is a great topic and i have a lot to say!!
buckle up, cuz this one’s a doozy.
firstly i’d like to point out that the body positivity movement no longer serves fat people, it works against them. the movement was initially created in the 1960s for fat people by fat people (fat queer jewish women, in fact!) this group had a political agenda, calling attention to the real oppression that fat people face, criticizing the dieting/weight loss industry and how it controls women, and putting an end to medical discrimination and fatphobic systems. unfortunately, this message was boiled down and made digestible to the accepted members of society - “fat people are entitled to basic human rights, respect, and recognition” got squashed and molded into “all bodies are beautiful!!”
(see the fat liberation manifesto by judy freespirit & alderbaran, 1973)
body positivity’s roots are in the fat liberation movement, but the two couldn’t be more different. to preach only the message of “you should love your body!” reverts the issues that fat people face to a problem of mindset, rather than a systemic problem that keeps them oppressed. instead of telling fat people not to feel bad about their bodies, everyone should be working to remove the anti-fat attitudes and systems that make them feel bad in the first place!
but how did this happen?? well, in the 21st century, diet culture and beauty standards are still raging across the country. everyone has body image issues, including thin people. the message “every body is beautiful” sounds very appealing to people who have felt bad about their bodies. and when a space made for a minority includes the majority, the cycle happens again and the majority oppresses the minority. thin people start to take hold of the movement and center themselves.
body positivity becomes about learning to love your “flaws” - and those “flaws” are rolls, stretchmarks, etc. anything that (gasp!) resembles a fat body! it is entirely fatphobic in its rhetoric. thin people are capitalizing off of this without taking actual steps to examine or unlearn their fatphobia, while silencing fat people and their struggles. i could speak more on this and talk about how there has become a new standard of beauty within the body positive movement (for example, chubby/small fat people & people with hourglass figures are more accepted than bigger people, and this happens because thin people are at the center!) but i’ll just get on with it and explain why that is and how it relates to @sapphicfeeder’s original post.
so, why doesn’t body positivity intersect with feedism?
short answer: the medicalization of fat bodies + the moralization of health.
too often i see people saying “i’m body positive, BUT i will not glorify ob*sity.” please view this post to see how this statement is wrong in so many ways.
i’m just going to assume that if you’re fat positive, you know that body size is not a diagnosis and there are a bajillion reasons as to why someone is fat - most of which have nothing to do with diet and exercise. (if you’d like more info on this, contact me!) anyway, “ob*sity” is a dehumanizing term used to target and medicalize larger body types, typically in the absence of any actual disease. it’s fatphobic fear-mongering.
most uneducated folks put the blame on fat people for their size - saying it’s their fault, if they’d just diet and exercise the right way they’d be thin and healthy. again - untrue, and so many things wrong with that statement. (i mean, if anyone has heard this shit a million times, it’s us.) this fatphobic and ableist narrative has been adopted by thin people who think they have a say in the body positivity movement, and weaponized against fat people based on personal bias. they put a MORAL value on health, (which yes, is a classist, white supremacist, eugenicist idea) and in their eyes, fat = unhealthy. so the fatter you are, if you dare promote your body, the eviler you are.
so that makes feedists the evilest of all.
the truth is, we scare people. (tw: death) it has taken me so long to deconstruct the internalized shame from the media constantly telling me, “if you’re a feeder, you’re killing your partner.” before discovering fat liberation, for the longest time, i felt like being a feedist made me a bad person. and that’s fucking bullshit!
i don’t care about what thin people and fatphobes think of this community - but i do care about how we affect fat people. many fat models on tumblr have “FEEDERS/FETISH BLOGS, DO NOT INTERACT” explicitly written in their bios and under their photos. and there are multiple reasons for that, which we all need to be crucially aware of:
1. this community is crawling with predators. no wonder people think we’re evil! so many fat women have opened up about their experiences being fetishized without their consent by feeders and FAs. this is a huge problem. the people who do this have internalized fatphobia and are ashamed of their admiration for fat bodies, and it comes out in really ugly ways. we need to turn the focus inward, eliminate predators, embrace fat liberation and feminism, and show toxicity no tolerance.
2. we eroticize weight gain and fatphobia, which is super triggering to a lot of people! saying things like you’re “ruining your waistline” and most of the teasing/degradation that goes on in kink spaces adhere to fatphobic ideas! most of what we find hot goes hand-in-hand with the medicalization of fatness & moralization of health! eating “unhealthy” things and saying things like “i really shouldn’t, but...” or “look what i’ve done to myself” - those can be very hot, but yes, they’re fatphobic. and that’s okay, because it’s not real. (at least, i hope you don’t say this to people outside of kink spaces!) most of us have this kink because we’ve ALL experienced fatphobia early on in our lives. this kink exists because fatness has been demonized by society - humans desire things that are labeled taboo! it’s unfortunate that fatness is considered taboo in the first place, and that’s a big reason as to why non-feedist fat people are made uncomfortable by this. this kink tells them that their mere existence is taboo!
something that i wish was more clear to people is that the majority of feedists ARE fat positive - that we have experienced trauma regarding fatphobia & the stigma around weight gain, and that fetish/fantasy is a way to cope with that. people eroticize their trauma all the time, it’s a huge aspect of the bdsm fetish community, and i think we should talk about it more. from the outside, our community is viewed as a bunch of skinny people fetishizing unwilling fat people. i wish they would realize that so many members of our community have been fat all of their lives and that this kink strengthens their relationship with their bodies. i can see how to non-feedists, the way we eroticize fatphobia is very difficult to understand.
3. some fat people have expressed frustration towards feedees/gainers (specifically those who have not been fat all of their lives) for fetishizing and appropriating their trauma. i do not personally agree with this viewpoint, but again, it’s important to know that the viewpoint exists and respect it, since it is from the perspective of those who are marginalized and have faced oppression.
whew! okay. that was a HUUUUGE tangent! if you made it this far i love you. in direct response to @sapphicfeeder - yes, people who choose to get fatter deserve body positivity and to love their bodies! AND to participate in fat liberation. feedism and fat liberation MUST intersect because our community is made up of fat people! we have a responsibility to protect and uplift those in marginalized bodies (and when we don’t, things get ugly and creepy.) fat liberation belongs in the feedism community - but feedism does not belong in the fat liberation movement. that’s right! when engaging in fat activism, leave your kinky gear at the door! of course involving others in your kink without their consent is wrong, but also fetishizing fatness and the lived experiences that come with it can be damaging to others outside of kink spaces. please please please be conscious of how you’re interacting with spaces made for non-kinky fat people. but simply promoting the beauty you find in fat bodies isn’t fetishization - it’s just your view! :) and it helps to normalize fatness and appreciation for fatness.
in conclusion: fat feedists are fat people! they face the same oppression that vanilla fat people face, and deserve access to the same support and spaces that vanilla fat people do. it all comes down to body autonomy. if gaining weight is affirming to you - you have the choice to change your body and you deserve to love and celebrate your body. just be sensitive and aware of how the feedism fetish can affect others outside of kink spaces.

Ideally, you want a good portion of muscle and fat in healthy amounts. Skinny fat is just a fancy way to say pudgy. It's a thing. Somebody with no muscle and mostly fat.
View attachment 2335205

You can have a shit diet and sedentary lifestyle which makes you flabby without eating to excess to pack on the extra adipose tissue.
I'd argue that skinny fat is almost harder to combat than just fat fat.

Typically skinnyfats eat within their calorie limits and do some form of exercise (as made obvious by the fact that their weight is within normal range), so it's not just a matter of diet and exercise.

You gotta really work at resistance and weight training to get rid of that skinny fat, or else you'll just lose a few more lbs and make the areas that you hold fat even more pronounced.

"FFL believes we need to make changes to our wider culture and to the culture of the feedist community. We are fiercely and bravely promoting sex positivity through our organisation’s guiding principals, our actions, and our campaigns. We hope that, through openness and pride, we can help others who have sexually taboo identities to feel unashamed, accepted, and free to explore pleasure in a fun and consensual manner.

This extends to those within our community. We aim to set an example of a healthy culture through our guiding principles, organisational structures, accountability processes, and our willingness to discuss sexuality openly. Specifically, FFL is engaged in:

Creating a transformative justice framework. Restorative justice aims to repair harm and return both parties to the status quo. FFL believes that the status quo in the feedist community is fundamentally flawed. Instead, we are creating a transformative justice framework that provides those who cause harm opportunities to be accountable in ways that let them heal, change their behavior, and reintegrate into the community.

FFL is in the process of identifying injustices and inequities that currently exist in online feedist community spaces, holding workshops to discuss toxicity and potential solutions, and outlining processes that can be implemented to assist those who have been harmed and hold perpetrators accountable.

Creating a culture of consent. Unlike within the BDSM kink community, the feedist community does not have widely-accepted ground rules. Taking inspiration from other kink communities, FFL is committed to creating risk-aware consensual kink (RACK) guidelines and educational initiatives designed to create a culture of full and ongoing consent within the feedist community.

Establishing better practices for those operating online communities. Typically, those administering online communities publish community guidelines. Often, though, the guidelines are not transparently enforced. Sometimes, the guardrails that would create safer space for community members do not exist. FFL would like to work with online platforms to create and implement best practices that removes anonymity, enforces accountability for those who steal content, and educates community members about full and ongoing consent.

Creating healing space. FFL’s vision is to create a space within the feedist community where those who have been harmed by feedists can find empathy, compassion, and healing. A different space will be made available to those who have caused harm, with the goal of rehabilitation and possible reintegration into the feedist community. If both parties agree, there will also exist space for accountability and reparations.

FFL hopes that these initiatives will alleviate shame from feedists, eliminate secrecy, and promote consensual exchanges. If feedists are free of shame and secrecy, and do not have to fear social persecution, we believe that harm will be significantly reduced.

July Event 4

The following action points were collectively developed at the February 20, 2021 Feedists for Fat Liberation (FFL) event to help people make fat liberation a reality in feedism.

Accessibility

  • A feedism community that doesn’t face access barriers to participating in fat liberation
  • Furniture that’s superfat-friendly; make spaces that are more accessible.
  • The place I go first is fighting for accessibility. I think the feedism sphere is so great for that.
  • Strap-ons that fit fat people. Communicates that fat people fit in this space.
  • Improve awareness of fat liberation in feedist spaces and make this information more accessible to people.
  • Information should be easy to digest and accessible.

Transformative Justice

  • Implement transformative justice strategies and systems in the feedism community to work with people who have committed harm and those who have been harmed.

Community Building

  • Feedist-friendly body work, massage, and physical therapy in a single place.
  • More “vetted” social hours for new people to engage with the intersection of feedism and fat lib.
  • Shame-free online or in-person event. How to control boundaries at different kinds of events. Starting point: choosing boundaries.
  • Do not focus on “bad actors.” Eliminate ignorance and stereotypes about feedism, show all positive aspects, and celebrate our community!
  • Come up with a list of community standards in the long run!
  • We choose the social norms that we socially enforce based on common understandings of behavior in our community.
  • Maybe a “tea time”/meet ‘n’ greet before having a FFL event? This can help with folks getting to know others and facilitate conversations easier. Helps break the ice too.
  • Having fat liberation being a part of more people’s profiles. Make it obvious that that’s a desirable quality.
  • Feedist spaces acted and operated and skill-shared the way that the best of the other kink spaces skill shared. Being safe.
  • Open mic night for feedists where people can show how they interpret feedism personally. Will help people see the creative individual elements and will help challenge the norm.

Awareness

  • Writing up what we have learned from our FFL group meetings about how to improve the community!
  • Definitions of what people are into so you can have an idea of what people would like. Having classes to educate people about different aspects of feedism.
  • Better feedist PR.
  • Make a feedism/fat liberation ‘zine!
  • Set up workshops aimed at learning about and working through other social problems that impact feedism (misogyny, racism, etc.).
  • Have a specific discussion platform/group to have feedism/fat lib

And of course its in California:

Yea make the OP, not sure she's much of a cow for Kiwi standards but she's certainly a fucking fat idiot. Jesus, hasn't she had like well over 20K dollars in cosmetic surgery?

View attachment 2346471

she had WLS surgery too right? Man as soon as that poor neanderthal looking gold digger said yes she porked right up.
I would love to see more content of Alex.
IIRC her most recent drama was she had the pannus removal surgery, and lied to people and said her belly was smaller due to Weight Watchers and "spot training". Here is a video where she talks about it, and the comments drag her pretty bad lol:

She also sometimes posts videos crying about fat shaming, or talking about whatever latest diet she is on and her viewers hate this. Here is a recent one:

Looking at her most recent video, I can't believe how much she gained even between the Telling My Truth video and now, and it's only been about 3 months??? I think it is worth keeping an eye on her due to her lying and rapid weight gain. She is going to end up Amberlynn size quickly.

You missed the video where its obvious this is as far togetehr as her legs can go:
View attachment 2343073
May my relationship always be as sturdy as that fabric. Nice front butt, Ash!

The pillows of fat billowing out of her shoes are incredible. She can't wear regular shoes or even slippers anymore. Her feet are like footballs. Can she even find socks that fit?

Who puts her shoes on for her? Does she have a Becky-style caretaker/ass wiper?
April channeling AL:

There's like a million grams of sugar on the table in her haul. The giant water bottle is actually negative sugar tho so it all balances out.
April looks a lot fatter than she was a few months ago. Look at her face.
Like most deathfats, she thinks if she buys the "right" food/drinks/gear she'll magically lose weight.
April should preface all her vids with "I am a stay at home wife, with no kids, and this is all I can do, it's enough" and then see if she gets the same amount of asspats. I think most of her audience assumes she has something else going on other than her "weight loss journey".
April doesn't even walk her own dogs. Her asspatters can't even imagine being that spoiled and worthless, so they make excuses for her.

Her husband is the biggest idiot on Earth. He's giving up on his admitted desire for kids just to feed her fat ass and fund her overspending. He'll spend the rest of his life regretting it.
She's taken to saying she has "a lot of weight" to lose now instead of "on a journey to lose 150lbs". My guess is that a few vids back when people started to get suspicious of her scale readings she figured she best just stop using specific numbers. She looks fat as fuck in her vids since moving.
Yeah, even some of her asspatters were starting to notice April's expanding face and suspicious weigh-ins. She's blowing up again.

Gorl, it's the worst place to carry your weight because it causes the most health problems. Thinner performers don't owe you SHIT.
“Why does so much porn cater to the white male gaze??”

Because that’s the overwhelming majority of people buying it. Queer non binary fat femme whatevers aren’t shelling out hundreds at the strip club. They aren’t slamming in their CC number to a porn site. Porn producers sell to their audience because that’s how they make money.

Men buy and consume porn to have a wank. This type of person wants to use porn to bolster the self-esteem of women, which is not what porn was created to do.

This is like bitching that restaurants only cater to hungry people.

This might be great for the new deathfat sex worker thread.

I will never stop loving therealdiggyb. I don't know what it is about her, but she's my absolute favorite. That attitude, with that body. She's like the polar opposite of Bekah. No denial here, it's like she is completely aware she looks like a whole-ass disney monster and is genuinely unconcerned about it. I hope she and her bizarre lumps never stop posting.

I love Diggyb because she indirectly gave me one of my favorite YouTube videos. It's so goofy and bizarre it's like if David Lynch swapped bodies with a young black guy.

Also I stumbled on that feeders for fat liberation page late last night but I mistook it for a troll and didn't share it.

Health has no bearing or involvement with this movement. We reject the medical-industrial complex and healthism in all forms. Health status has no bearing a person’s humanity and worth.

They "reject the medical-industrial complex...in all forms," but when you're enough of an angry fatty to join a fat liberation movement, you're already sick, and on multiple meds for fat-related conditions. Or, if you're not, you're either as-yet-undiagnosed and should be, or are still very young and still resilient, but soon will be.

To be obese is to gradually become dependent upon the medical-industrial complex in all forms. Unless you never see a doctor, never seek treatment for any pain or illness, and refuse care after being hauled into the ER after collapsing from a condition now grown life-threatening, there is no way to be a deathfat and not live a substantial part of your life dealing with doctors and popping pills (which, if you want to be ideologically pure, includes OTC remedies, because they're products of the medical-industrial complex, too).

April's "there you are" at the beginning of the video is the stuff of nightmares, I swear. I'm not sure what's the point of this video - she randomly goes like, "here's proof that i'm going into Sprouts with my grocery bags". A lot of the comments seem to be about the outrageous prices there.

Impulse buy tally (those shown anyways) :
- Avocado oil marinade
-Almond butter
-carrot juice immunity shots

Choice quotes : "i feel like anything i eat increases the swelling in the heat"
"I love carbonated beverages, I really do" (no way)

She didn't even get the right juices for her husband. And they're doing a meal prep service for him (a thing she also mentioned in her previous video, and that I still don't understand. She's literally a stay-at-home wife. What's so hard about cooking food for the week yourself ?).

That haul is also over a week old since she mentions their "July 4th dinner".
$228 for this haul seems like an insanely high price for groceries that won't last them a week.
View attachment 2341561

Edit : April also uploaded an episode of her podcast, but it's over 1h long, and I cba. If anyone wants to volunteer as tribute, here it is.
Oh my god, I'm taking one for the team bc I'm sick in bed and April is one of my pet mini cows. Here we GOOOOOOOOO

-The intro is loud as fuck and obnoxious of course. April and her friend Jenna are visible.

-She starts by shilling built bars, claiming she eats them as special treats.

-Oh my god... She's literally asking her friend what she did today 🙄🙄🙄 they ran errands. Incredible. She tells us about a show her mom is watching. I regret this decision immensely.

-Her friend's connection is choppy and she's hard to understand.

-April wants two sets of twins or triplets 🤯. she can't even manage two dogs. She wants to have a large family, even if it's adoption.

-She felt bullied by her apple watch because it asked her if she wanted to compete with Jenna via exercise. She probably got butthurt by the Wii Fit back in the day when it weighed her.

-Talks about Spartan Race training, shortly. Guess she's planning to complete a race.

-Inserts a previously recorded interview with Jill, takingweightoff and missgreeneyes on YouTube, talking about abuse and weightloss.

-LOUD AS FUCK TRANSITION

-Guest Jill spergs about moving. She sounds like she's right in Aprils intended audience: basic suburban bitches.

-They go on about how they're super special influencers, and can't understand how people dont give a shit that they're YouTubers .

-April spergs about her husband doing multiple Spartan races in the coming months.

-Asks her guest about her weightloss journey. Her guest looks like a fat hobbit, so I can't imagine how she looked before. Guest claims she didn't have a weight issue, but a self love/confidence issue, and therefore comfort ate. Blames Kate Moss lol. Claims ye olde high school eating disorder and starving herself, before she heard her mom talking shit behind her back and she started binging for comfort. Used diet pills, got panic attacks. She stopped and gained weight, and was with an 'abusive' partner who didn't want her gaining more weight. Then met abusive ex husband, was emotionally and physically abused for 15 years. Got pregnant and comfort ate, and ballooned again. Says she's been yoyo-ing ever since, at least ten years.

-Now out of abusive relationship, learning to love herself and heal from trauma.

-Lol Aprils response to her heart wrenching tale: 'Yeah, that's rough." April relates to how her body image ruins her self worth.

-Asks for self worth tips and tricks. Guest suggests speaking nicely to herself.

-April has them green screened against a low budget, plain white background and they look like south park cut outs.

-Guest says that other peoples' narratives are not the truth, don't accept validation from others. That's what she did in her abusive marriage.

-Guest claims it's all about loving yourself, but can't wait to shop at straight sized stores lol. Is triggered by others talking about her weightloss despite having a weightloss YouTube channel.

-April spergs about guests makeup and clothes, asks how fashion affects her weightloss journey. So fucking vapid.

-Guest claims herself a fashionista. Hated that she can't feel cute while fat. Is veering towards FA talk.

-She had to wear sweatpants and big shirts while pregnant, the horror. Was so bloated after her hysterectomy, hated that she didn't feel cute. Tries to look good for HERSELF, no one else. Very typical independent woman sperging.

-April is too stupid to relate to the low tier, super accessable interests of the guest, but desperately wants to. Says she loves 'pretty things'.

-Guest claims highest weight was 324. She looooooves dancing and couldn't dance while fat. Everything hurt and she lost mobility, despite being super flexible.

-Guest wants to lose weight so she has mobility, comfort, and access to cute fashion. Claims that people just don't want to put the effort into making cute plus sized clothes. April is inspired by her passion for makeup and clothes. Guest thinks Fashion Nova and Shien are high fashion lol.

-Guest wants to walk comfortably amongst the commonfolk again. Acts as though she can barely walk now, talks about walking like an Olympic sport. Acknowledges that exercise helps with anxiety and depression. Claims diagnosis with binge eating and needs the active distraction.

-Was agoraphobic and was afraid to walk too far from her house or car, as of March or February this year. Started doing small walks away from her comfort zones and had a revelation.

-Guest will get better for her kids, too. Lowest priority is her kids lol. Had to watch her kids use a paddle boat without her bc of weight limits and she wanted to cry. Wants to fit in a roller coaster.

-Guest is obviously trying harder and dedicating more to their weightloss than April has even imagined. Feels like April is getting very inspired and learning a lot for this entry level interaction. The guest is moving to North Carolina as well, so April really wants to hang out. April describes her fat fear of roller coasters.

-Guests child is afraid that if her mom loses weight she will change too much. Guest says child doesn't want her mom to date again.

-Guest claims that because she was hurt by men in the past, she thinks that she was subconsciously protecting herself by staying fat, despite going into detail about her lifelong yoyo-ing diet and weightloss journey.

-Guest is afraid of elevators, balconies, and airplanes bc of her weight.

-Guest decided to lose weight for good after getting partial hysterectomy for cancer in late 2020. Started recording herself doing a 90 day challenge, felt successful, started posting it to YouTube. Had a weightloss channel in the past that used to trigger her into binging when she was bullied by less than supportive comments, but has found the courage to try again. She lives on that block and delete button, and April praises her. Thinks it's healthy that guest won't even read criticism.

-They NEED their weightloss channels to be accountable. Mean people are SO MEAN that she cant even focus on all the praise she gets too. Overall, guest loves being online for the sweet sweet validation and attention. April encourages everyone to share their bullshit online.

-Guest did 75 Hard workout, in 90 days, in 30 day increments??? Walked up and down stairs for 5 minutes. Tried a 10 minute Chloe Ting arm workout. Found 75 Hard on TikTok.

-April loves and hates 75 Hard. She had to push herself.

-April randomly brings up her love for Britney Spears, and asks guest about her Britney 'Slave for You' dance video she did for 75 Hard. Guest obsesses over Britney's body. Shes still learning the dance. Can't wait to lose the weight so she looks better doing the dance.

-April totally loves dancing too, and took hip hop dancing classes.

-So much stereotypical vapid airhead chatting my god

-Guest is motivated in life by wanting more and better things for herself. She spent 15 years married to an abuser, and wants to make up for time lost to that relationship. She helps/wants to help other women to realize their worth and potential. Kind of touches on generational trauma, but this really reads as an after school special on abuse. She knows she has a really good, inspiring story and has conquered an abusive man ALONE as a SINGLE MOM on YOUTUBE.

-Guest drops a bomb and says you have to be consistent for things to work. 🤯

-April and Guest urge abused listeners to get help and call a hotline.

-Guest was able to finally get out of her relationship after trying therapy and her therapist called her husband a narcissist. She started talking to other women online who were in relationships with narcs. She was willing to lower her expectations for her standard of living in order to get away from him. Worked full time and did YouTube. She managed all their finances. Took the money from tax refunds for herself, for a townhome. Paid off her car before she left. Is aware that there are shelters and job resources for other people.

-Only took 6-7 months in therapy to get herself independent and ready to leave. April has the wherewithal to acknowledge male abuse victims.

-April admits she's not entrepreneurial at all. Asks guest for advice since guest is now just a YouTube star and doesn't need a normal job. Guest always knew she was special and different, even as a child. Guest always worked very hard and was the best at everything she did. Guest describes working at a grocery store. Guest went to college to become a secretary. She hated it, down with the corporate man. She couldn't even play solitaire on her computer!!! She was laid off. She got into accounting next. She's a gen x with delusions of glamour, so she moved to Atlanta to pursue fashion. She had babies and worked from home instead, telemarketing. Shes been GRINDING out YouTube content since 2011. Is confident she still has accounting to fall back on. She will not be micromanaged! She can't understand having to take scheduled breaks and not doing whatever she wants all the time. She's an inspiration for following her dreams and heart and winning at life.

-She thinks she's a hero and a leader and will lead the abused masses to freedom. As someone who has experienced abuse, she annoys the shit out of me and I wouldn't trust her if my life depended on it.

-April has little to no structure for this interview and falters to lead the discussion.

-April was so effective and excellent at her job but it didn't matter because she was laid off anyway. She thought her job was so stable and she'd never need a fallback. She only trusts herself now and channeling her incredible work ethic towards YouTube.

-Guest spergs about being a single working mom woman. Guest hated paying for daycare when she could watch her own kids while being on YouTube all day! She just kept grinding and sacrificing!!! She's already moved out of the townhouse and into a bigger place. She's moving to NC soon. Bootstraps!!!!!

-Life is so beautiful and she can do what she loves from anywhere in the world with no boss and it's all because she believed in herself!!

-Please shoot me.

-Oh god finally wrapping up. Guest plugs social media handles.

-April covertly asks for help with restarting her weightloss journey lol. Guest recommends everyone needs therapy for everything, and self help books. April really should try a therapist though. April is so motivated!!! They jerk each other off and can't wait to be bfffffls.

-April plugs her own podcast site and asks for recommendations.

I will never do this again holy shit.

Has Beckah actually moved yet? I really, really hope she's moving to here.

That said, Ayrshire in general is pretty rural. She's going to completely and utterly despise it. Plus it's not crammed full of woko haram students, and nobody will give a fuck about her pronouns. She's going to have a really hard time of it. I can't wait to see the resulting meltdown.

No, see, all of those medical issues they have are coincidental. FA folks love to tell doctors “diagnose my problems without addressing my obesity,” or “what would you recommend for _____if I were a thin person?” That last one is almost verbatim from one of those priggish little cards they want to hand to doctors during evaluations. “My doctor blames every one of my obesity-related mysterious illnesses on my obesity! Meanwhile he would actually try to diagnose a thin person properly!”

(to be fair, there is SOME issue with misdiagnosing a condition as obesity-related when it may be something more serious, but it’s not at all common, and it’s no great travesty to look at a woman of 28 stone and say “you are diabetic now because you are very fat. Your knees hurt because you are carrying a massive amount of weight. Your hormones are fucked up because you have a tonne of extra fat, and fat contributes to overproducing certain hormones. Duh.”)

A lot of these gorls claim that their hypertension, diabetes, aching joints, depression, PCOS, sleep apnea, gastric upset, heartburn, etc etc are INCIDENTAL to their morbid obesity. Thin people get _____ too, yaknow!! Why does the doctor just assume that my type 2 diabetes and high blood pressure is being caused by my morbid obesity?!

These are real arguments that some of them make…that being obese does not create health problems, and all these obesity-related health issues they have are totally coincidental. Some even go so far as to claim that they’re all caused, not by being hundreds of pounds overweight, but by the stress of being subjected to fatphobia.

It’s a whole other level of delusion that I can’t wrap my brain around.
