I'm sorry, what? I have genuinely never heard of such a thing before. Winter weight I can see the logic in, since there's holidays and the shit weather gets depressing leading to comfort foods.

Summer swelling tho? What kinda fat bullshit is that? Like, what is her fatlogic here?
Shit. I know this one.
"Summer swelling" far as I can tell, is April-speak for heat-related swelling that is more common in women. It happens because your blood vessels expand trying to cool you down. For most people it's temporary or goes away with exercise, but for others it lasts as long as you're in an environment above a certain temperature until you cool down again. It's most obvious when you're wearing rings and suddenly can't take them back off again because your fingers puffed up.

I honestly think that there needs to be almost a BMI cutoff and everyone above that BMI would be automatically given the "overeating eating disorder" (or find a better term) diagnosis and treated accordingly
For what it's worth, in some EMR software, if obesity is entered as the underlying reason for a procedure or illness, the diagnostic code field autopopulates as "morbid obesity due to excess calories". For example, if a patient is getting a gastric bypass, the EMR would indicate that the specimen type is stomach, the procedure that generated the specimen is a gastric bypass, and the underlying diagnosis is "morbid obesity due to excess calories". Reeeeeeee!

April walking in the woods. She's saying she hasn't walked in awhile and that she needs "trail or running shoes to actually enjoy this" (direct quote).
She claims to eat healthy and that the fat is just due to summer swelling. When she shows off her groceries, she has quite a few impulse buys, which isn't exactly surprising. And she has bought pre-made meal preps for her husband, which makes me wonder why isn't she doing them herself ?
Here's my video synopsis.:

April: "I"m so excited. I'm so excited. I'm so excited." "I'm excited for my podcast. I'm excited for my one year journey video. I'm excited.."

Like seriously enough,

As much time as she spent showing the crappy footage of her sweaty trail and disgusting mud river.....she probably only spent ten minutes actually walking. I've never seen so many "pauses" while walking a trail. I get it's a vlog but....her talking bores me. Stopping the camera to pose without finishing her trail. Uggh. She's just so freakin annoying. She lost "50" pounds and now she thinks she is qualified to give advice to everyone. It's an absolute joke. I could also do without the shots of her shoes and the footage of the ground she's walking. Does she think it's "exciting" and interesting?

April.."I can do a Spartan now."
Me: Then why didn't you????

She is so full of crap her eyes should be brown. (I think they are.) You're not fooling us, April.

Lol!

I mean, true…clearly no one dislikes her as much as she loathes herself. If you have to post half-naked hostage pics four times a week to assure the world how much you like yourself, you are experiencing some deep loathing.

It’s nice to see her outside tho, and in a setting where being half-naked is appropriate. She actually looks happy in this picture, not forced-happy. I’m glad to see it.

What the hell is she wearing on her feet then?!
Yeah, she's wearing perfectly serviceable athletic sneakers for the basic non-technical trails she walks on. She's just a consummate consoomer and must justify buying more shit she doesn't really need.

As for Ash, there's no way she actually reads like that outside of a posed IG ad. That looks insanely uncomfortable and absolutely terrible for her already wretched circulation.

JFC Bekah, you're over 25. You should have already realized, that majority of people don't care what you look like at the beach/gym/store. People do their own thing and unless you're loud or obnoxious somehow, nobody will remember a fat dangerhair from the beach.

These people are barely able to function, please never ever get children.

Careful Bekah, you might build some muscle and *gasp* look leaner.

April's "there you are" at the beginning of the video is the stuff of nightmares, I swear. I'm not sure what's the point of this video - she randomly goes like, "here's proof that i'm going into Sprouts with my grocery bags". A lot of the comments seem to be about the outrageous prices there.

Impulse buy tally (those shown anyways) :
- Avocado oil marinade
-Almond butter
-carrot juice immunity shots

Choice quotes : "i feel like anything i eat increases the swelling in the heat"
"I love carbonated beverages, I really do" (no way)

She didn't even get the right juices for her husband. And they're doing a meal prep service for him (a thing she also mentioned in her previous video, and that I still don't understand. She's literally a stay-at-home wife. What's so hard about cooking food for the week yourself ?).

That haul is also over a week old since she mentions their "July 4th dinner".
$228 for this haul seems like an insanely high price for groceries that won't last them a week.

Edit : April also uploaded an episode of her podcast, but it's over 1h long, and I cba. If anyone wants to volunteer as tribute, here it is.

From Ash look how high up her stomach puts her!

Ok wait…so in 2017 they got a bigfig mattress for their guest bedroom, then a few months ago they got one for their own bedroom?

Yet she says she slept on the 2017 one every night?

I’m confused, did she sleep separately in the guest bedroom every night since 2017? Or is she admitting that they had a bigfig mattress for their bedroom in 2017 and she wore it out so badly that they had to buy another one a few months ago and relegate the old one to the guest bedroom? No one buys a second gigantic and overly expensive specialty mattress JUST for the guest bedroom. And again, she says the decision to get one “for the bedroom” was made only a few months ago.

The adjustable frame she mentions tips up at the head, I assume to alleviate suffocating in your sleep from apnea. You can easily buy the frame separately.

So they bought the new frame AND they bought a new mattress, shoving the old one in the guest room?? To what end?? Those things are very expensive. I can only assume she flattened it, a mattress created especially for obese people, and they needed a new one, in the space of only three years. Big yikes.

Also yes, it’s horrifying that she can lay on her stomach and her head will not reach the mattress, because she has an entire person of fat between her chest and the mattress. Imagine laying on top of a large person. Now imagine that person is made of pure fat and is inside your skin.

When your husband thinks the grocery haul was $90 but it was actually $228
