Snoopy has died

RIP Snoopy... Anytime Chris posted pictures of them or when they were seen in videos, I'd feel so awful for them. Chris's mistreatment of animals is the only thing about him that actually gets me a bit upset. You could also tell that for the most part, he wasn't a big fan of raising Clover and Snoopy. Kinda saw them as nothing more than a chore. Knowing Chris, he'll probably adopt another dog/cat to fill the void (I certainly hope not). Now I wonder how much longer Clover has...

I once had dog, it was a truly sad day when it died.

That said, I just can't feel sad nor "angry" at Chris.

To me, it was just another happening in Christory, to be promptly recorded on the CWCki, where no shit is too minor, which will serve to satiate the curiosity of the people who want to learn the tale of Chris-Chan's life. Nothing more, nothing less.

Clover's eyes look like they are shouting for help. I hope she gets taken away, but that may never happen.

I remember when he first posted these pics back in 2018 and everyone in the replies was like, "Chris what the fuck these dogs aren't healthy"
This'll probably never be confirmed or anything, but wasn't Chris accused of smacking his dogs because of a couple of his livestreams?

And that was three years ago. Poor Clover probably looks even worse now.

I'm not a vet nor a dog owner but even I can notice some issues here, why/how did those dogs get so fat? they seem quite overweight to me, also aren't you supposed to trim a dogs nails/claws? snoopy and clover in those photos are starting to look like wolverine, scariest part too is these pics are 3 years old, how do they look now?

Chris typically fed/feeds his dogs canned chicken noodle soup, which can cause sodium ion poisoning if fed from canned soup with high sodium amounts.

I saw in a picture that the dogs shit on newspapers around the house, so I highly doubt they give their dogs any exercise, hence the obesity.

wait what? aren't they supposed to be feed dog food with occasional scraps? (not a dog person so I don't know)
Absolutely, but that's asking Chris & Barb to be semi-responsible pet owners. They feed their dogs shit they're not supposed to eat, then wonder why they have health problems a few years down the line. I don't think they feed their cats much better food either; a cat that Chris got less than 2 years ago seems to have plumped up considerably, according to a recent video.

he should legitimately not be allowed to own pets (yes I know I'm just echoing most of this thread) again I don't know anything about dogs but isn't 9 years a fairly short life for a dog?

this is the only time I will say I hope its at least the dogs/cats given the alternative which I don't rule out after the All Star video

I think Beagles usually live for about 12-15 years on average, so Snoopy dying at 9 is definitely shorter than the average lifespan. Also factor in the leg injury he had early in his life (one he never fully recovered from).

According to this, the leg injury happened after he was adopted, not before, with no mention otherwise. No mention of taking him to the vet after this happened either. Chris also admits he was too damn lazy to walk the dogs.

Also he probably needed the neighbors' help because the dog was too damn big and Chris too weak to lift it.
How the fuck does a dog get a life long injury from falling off a pile of clothes? I've seen old dogs jump off second floors and walk it off within some days.
This just reeks of Chris once again finding an excuse to not take the most basic of responsabilities, just like everything in his life.
"Chris WANTS to be a responsible man but life always finds a way to screw him over so why try?"

My sympathy is soured after reading that eulogy.

That obituary could have been produced by a CWC algorithm. It starts off sincere and emotional, almost like a normal person could write these things and have these emotions. Then, it turns into a story about how this will turn out OK because he can't face reality. Then, it becomes about him, how it will impact and improve his life. There isn't a word about how the dog was part of his daily life or how he'll miss anything about Snoopy, because the dog was just a familiar inconvenience. He's barely more upset than he'd be if some more of his toys got melted.

Pretty sure he didn't fall off a pile of clothes. I think Chris said that he was playing and triggered an avalanche of heavy appliances or some of Barbs random shit (like a folding chair or old microwave) which smashed him in the leg as he stood under it.
