excuse me, i know Kanae is a big guy in JP but what kind of connection he got to play with Eve lmao

and seems no one clip it yet, i guess.. and Iofi is out of radar, she got call from Yuuki Ono during her birthday stream
this girl sure really building a connection behind the scene
Kanae often plays with various utaite and producers, it's amazing how many connections he has to just casually be friends with them enough that they call him randomly to play off stream too.

Today is collab day, apparently.

It's not uncommon, either. Plenty of Seiyuu show up in Nijisanji chat or straight up in 3D events. There was a clip recently where I think it was Belmond said he goes out for drinks with Chigusa's favourite VA and told him she loves him.

They've got a lot of connections that go right the way to the top.

Worst part is that she is not reallygood at dealing with suicidal people, iirc she almost had a mental breakdown during the DDLC stream.
Yeah that ddlc breakdown simultaneously super scary and depressing and also really wholsome how noble and the other girls helped cheer her up with puppies

I wish i got to see them finish the game but i totally get that mel couldn't do it

It's a sad day today. Last night, out of nowhere, Beatani unfollowed everyone on her Twitter account:

And we were greeted this morning with the following tweets:

It sounds like she doesn't have the time to focus on Twitter anymore, combined with a less-frequent stream schedule than before. /yah/ is in ruin, and there's no going back.

Beatani is the only vtuber I really cared about, as mentally ill as her and the community are, and this is incredibly sad to me. I've watched her since the beginning and became a relatively big name in the fanbase for what I posted, and I don't like how she's doing this. Her fanbase is absolutely full of content creators, and I strongly believe it was because she would retweet, comment, or at least like the stuff people posted on the stream hashtags. Any sort of Twitter interaction is better than cutting it off completely, and I can't help but this this is too harsh of a move instead of just saying she won't be on the platform as much.

Her original goal in vtubing was to "make 1000 friends", and in the beginning she would consistently say she wanted friends over just fans. Maybe she got too big, or maybe something inside her changed, but I don't really know if I'm going to keep supporting her at this point and it really hurts to say that. This was the first online community I really got involved in, in over 10 years, and seeing it like this just sucks.

In regards to the discussion about Kiara trying extra hard to promote her new song, I think someon mentioned earlier that the Youtube algorithm fucked her over somehow in regards to the song, so maybe she’s doing this to make up for that.
Honestly suprised that it didn't come up in this thread before but on last week's member stream she vented about "something internal" in Cover that fucked her over when it came to producing/releasing Sparks to the point where she was wondering whether it was worth making original songs anymore. Sounded pretty similar to past JP rants about Cover and original songs.

I'm currently catching up on IRyS' singing stream, man she is great.

I'm using a device without adblock tho, and it's riddled with ads, literally an ad every 4 minutes, this can't be normal, can it?

Lmao Akirose had to cut the stream short because there's a cockroach in her room. There were sounds of struggling but the roach managed to hide so she can't sleep/focus until she finds it. And she asked to not the clip the mo(e)ment according to TL.
It was especially funny because Subnautica was already full of scary sounds of sea creatures that might attack and it took her a moment to realize the cockroach sound was in her room

@The One And Only SALTE You might get competition.
On a serious note: Kiki, visiting here is like visiting a cross between insane asylum and a zoo where the chimps, inmates, and the keepers fling dung at each other. To quote Dante Alighieri, "ABANDON ALL HOPE, YE WHO ENTER."

I'm a "literally who" compared to most of the people talked about on here. Someone like Kiki or Pippa makes an account here people will immediately find out and spread that shit. My saving grace is that nobody knows who the fuck I am. If they make an account, expect a fuckton of cancel attempts by the indie crowd while I just keep on keepin' on.

I would go even further that having streamlabs might slightly decrease revenue. You make almost nothing from stream labs, you complicate the explanation on how to donate, and you split up where people see the donations.

There is a reason successful web companies obsess over the amount of clicks and amount of mental energy needed when going through their website. Probably not noticable for almost all streamers and there is still the argument for diversifying income streams.

Streamlabs has more direct benefits for the streamer than it does for the audience. I use it myself, and most of the money I've made is through Streamlabs donations. It took Twitch 4 months since I got partnered to give me my first payout, and I've been sitting on about 200 in Streamlabs donos since a month ago.

Streamlabs makes money available immediately and Paypal only charges a transfer fee when someone gives you money. For people who care about making the most money out of streaming, this is the better option. It's why fucks like DSP prefer it.

However, bits and Twitch subcriptions (and by extension, Youtube Superchats) have a more direct benefit for the viewer in terms of rewarding them. Bit badges, sub badges, emote unlocks, highlighted messages and VOD access are all things that are good for the viewer experience. Despite not making as much money from subscriptions and bits, I prefer people to support me with those so I can get to work on providing things like better emotes and badges to give back to them. Youtube's biggest flaw with the memberships, though, is that emotes are channel exclusive and not site-wide.

Mori used to be my favourite target, but ever since Salte left I havent had many chances to bait people into typing essays about why Mori is cool and I'm wrong for 'hating her'
Kiara is the second lowest hanging fruit and it guarantees replies :smug:
i'm just waiting for the kfp committee to show up.

Bitch I'm still here. I don't think anyone is wrong for hating her, sometimes I just think the reasons are ridiculous.

Not everyone can like everyone. I can't stand Gura and Ame, for example, but that doesn't mean they're bad. Ina I just don't find all that interesting to watch; I have to be in a very particular mood to enjoy her. Calli and Kiara I can watch most of the time and walk away thinking it was a good time.
