IIRC, that quote is from a blog Bobbo wrote back when TDK had just come out. Back then he was still all for the Nolan trilogy, and it was only later that he backtracked on his love for those movies when he associated them with the dudebros he's filled with an all-consuming rage over. Since then, I believe his desire for campy Batman content is a hamfisted attempt to distance himself from his earlier opinions.
