Snoopy has died

I doubt Chris will be sad about this for more than a couple days. He's said before that he didn't love Clover and Snoopy. He never talks about them without someone bringing them up, and every interaction we've seen first hand was negative. He was even going to leave them in the car when he thought he could get a date. A nine year-old dog "dying in his sleep" doesn't just happen out of nowhere. Snoopy was probably declining for months before now, and Chris just didn't care to do anything but watch.

Nobody wants to bring up how these dogs look like a blimp on toothpicks for legs.

As other people have pointed out, 9 isn't exactly young for a Beagle, but it's very young for a Beagle to die. It's kind of depressing that the Chandlers get to knowingly do everything wrong healthwise and lead long lives but their pets, who don't get a choice in the matter, don't.

Rest in peace, Snoopy. Hope you've gone on to somewhere fun, and that they're feeding you something better than Campbell's chicken noodle soup.

I usually don't care about Chris other than to chuckle at a fat narcy retard sometimes but this is the kinda shit that makes me actually MATI. Someone needs to make sure no animal has to suffer like this under the Chandler's ownership. Of course, nothing will change.
What's equally annoying is it's such an easy solution, too. Literally even if you don't clip a dog's nails, as long as you walk them on pavement for an hour a day or whatever, it'll naturally grind their nails down. That shows years and years of inactivity (besides the dog's massive size, that is).

I'm thinking more that his behavior changed before he died. The obesity was always going to kill him. I'm guessing a stroke or a heart attack is what killed him. Hell, the limp Chris mentioned might have been from the limb pain that precedes a heart attack. There are very clear signs that lead up to that and even if you don't know what to look for, you should be able to tell when your dog starts acting funny.

I guess my point is, Chris has just been waiting for these dogs to die. They were a burden his mother forced on him, and he never bonded with either of them. His emotions are from the shock of sudden change, and not for Snoopy's sake.

It's been stated on the CWCki, and autists in general cannot emotion properly and dislike change, so I would agree with you there. It was Barb's idea to get Snoopy only, and Chris just went along with getting Clover. If Chris is legit concerned with Clover's well being, he has to make arrangements with a local pet sitter while he's away on his pony con. Null has to know about this as well and offer ideas as well. I do not trust Barb to take care of anything living.

I mean, I have sympathy for Chris. It's always horrible to lose a dog. He obviously shows affection towards them. But then I see how poorly he generally treats his pets.

Surprised all of his dogs/cats have lasted this long. Barb's obviously not in the state where she can do anything to take care of them, and Chris is the last person you'd give responsibility to.

Yea, that's why snoopy died at only what 9 years old?

Some people shouldn't own pets. Especially not dogs. They're overfed, understimulated, and forced to shit on newspapers on the floor.

Chris states how it was such a chore carrying a heavy dog up and down the stairs, you know because Snoopy chose to live it's entire life with an injured leg after it fell off their hoard of garbage and broke it.

Dogs aren't meant to sit on a bed all day or have their only exercise be the short moments they eat and shit.

Even patty had it horrible. It lived it's entire existence in a pen outside chained to a dog house.

These animals are not being cared for and it's a shame.
