I half think she's -deliberately- saying the quiet aport out loud to deliberately hurt the Administration. The woman isn't stupid and knows how to warp language to say nothing. I suppose that after a certain level of career I like to believe that humans at least aren't stupid for mundane reasons. Yes it is naive but also everyone that got into the Biden White House is probably well connected and knows each other well enough to not step on each other. That a certain level of professionalism would have been required.

Jen Psaki didn't get in due to professionalism. If you look at her actual career it's a bunch of 2 year posts bouncing around the Obama Admin, alongside some stuff just prior of indistinct short-term roles. This is very, very common and indicative of someone who got in through some form of nepotism. Usually of the dick-sucking variety.

I could be wrong, but given Psaki's career path, my guess is that she hit her personal ceiling. Connected enough for a post, but not enough to be part of the bigger slice of it all, she's probably face-to-face with the fact that this is as good as she's ever going to do. Under difference circumstances she might be placated, but knowing that "they" are holding her back can easily turn loyalty to bitterness, and give her every reason to take revenge on a system that let her down.
It is, of course, also possible she's fucking incompetent. You decide!
