I'd have no issue with making the vaccine mandatory for certain fields - if it were in fact a thoroughly tested and studied vaccine which it is not.

I think it is important to discern between people (like myself) who think vaccines are very important and those who just do not like vaccines, There are plenty of people like me that have reluctantly taken the vaccine as simply a better choice than no vaccine, but this doesn't mean we think the vaccine is entirely safe nor are we going to possibly even take boosters unless governments do the needed research into the effects and determine if these vaccines pose a long, short or medium term health risk.

I am growing increasingly tired of the reports surfacing "here and there" of side effects being downplayed rather than being upplayed which would be the safer route. I myself suffered side effects from the 2nd shot and I do not see my phone ringing off the hook asking if I had any side effects. No follow up.

Instead I am being told if I feel anything to go to a Hospital and incur tens of thousands of dollars worth of care and testing "to be safe" from people who will turn around and say "Gee, we see something going on but you know we can't say the vaccine did that". So what's the point?

Vaccinating 100 Million and relying on self-reporting is not acceptable given what they charge in the USA to go to a hospital and get a toe bandaged so self reporting will always underreport side effects.

A control batch of 100,000 recipients would cost $10,000 each do to full bloodwork and thorough follow up - a cost of a mere Billion - a fraction of the cost being spent on poor families and corporations. And that would be a significant portion that I'd accept it after 2 years.

And we can't even get that? There is every reason to logically doubt the vaccine and while I won't share the table with anti-vaxers, I entirely understand their reasonable and sound frustration with the roll out because this is NOT a tested nor proven vaccine and it is a vaccine in name only.

Be careful not to mix up anti vaxxers and those of a similar mindset to you.

If vaccines are going to be mandatory, then it should be MMR, smallpox, TB, Hep etc. Tried and tested vaccines that stop deadly and debilitating diseases in their tracks. I support these vaccines whole heartedly. I will not take the covid vaccine and refuse point blank to do so until a minimum of 3 years has passed.

Nobody should be forced to take an experimental medication, as it is illegal across the western world due to what happened with the Jews in nazi Germany. However we are forcing people to take the vaccine. Yet, that goes counter to what a vaccine is. If I have had the polio vaccine, and I'm in a room full of people with polio, their choice not to get vaccinated makes no difference to my own health.

Even worse, is how many people have had both jabs and still get covid. I have a family member who has been double jabbed and is suffering terribly with covid at the moment. Though tbh I am very worried that they are suffering vaccine side effects and not covid.

Testing positive isn't an issue. The issue is with suffering the symptoms of covid after taking the vax.

I would like to know how many people have tested positive, or are in hospital with covid, after taking one or both jabs. We are constantly told that getting vaccinated will stop the spread and allow us to open up. Yet all I see is the vaccinated spreading and suffering from covid just as much as the unvaccinated.

The absurd amount of people having moderate to life threatening reactions to these vaccines is shocking. I really didn't grasp just how bad it is until the past few days when I started reading the massive number of bad reactions stories.

• People are being blown off, insulted, mocked, and ridiculed by their personal GP or hospital staff
• People are being treated like they are to blame for their adverse reactions
• Online people seeking help are being mocked and censored by the usual 'Orange Man Bad! Trust teh Science! Get teh Jab!' janitors.
• The massive number of people with symptoms that directly match up with what we know is going wrong with these vaccines is the most telling. These aren't just a bunch of the standard hypochondriacs making up random claims.
• People with long post histories that were gung-ho for the vaccines are now in panic and despair because they are being treated like pariahs and why don't they shut up and 'we are all in this together'. These people with serious damage from the vaccines are just a bunch of 'right wing 4chan trolls' that many of the covid cultists are trying to do online damage control.

The damage these vaccines are doing to people's hearts and circulatory system is not the type of damage that can be fixed or will just go away. Patients need to start recording their interactions with their doctors and hospital staff and these people need to be put under pressure that they are going to be sued out of the medical profession if they are on record dismissing or mocking people with serious damage to their heart and circulatory system.

Patients who got the jab also need to be proactive with verifying the cause of their symptoms. The covid cultist meme reactions of 'that means the vaccine is working' should not shame people from not going to their GPs and demanding tests be done to at the very least rule out the long term, life threatening damage we are seeing from these vaccines. And if a person't GP refuses, find another GP that will and document the refusals.

The government might be shielding these pharmaceutical giants from legal liability, but, IANAL, there is no such protection from basic medical malpractice for doctors and other medical professionals who feel they are helping Team Covid by sending people with serious vaccine reactions home to shut up and silently deal with it.

Smallpox has an extremely low mutation rate (peer-reviewed).
Its also worth noting Smallpox existed for centuries; and as a bonus the article talks about how the species lost genetic diversity due to more lethal lineages dying out.
Meanwhile COVID/SARS-CoV-2 has an extremely fast mutation rate, 0.04-0.06 as reported by Pathan et al. (2020) (also peer-reviewed).

For comparison to some other viruses:
Polio has a mutation rate of 0.00009
Hep-C has a mutation rate of 0.000038
Flu-A has a mutation rate of 0.000025

There is no scientist that has worked on this virus that thinks it is ever going away and it is entirely the opposite. This thing is mutating very rapidly - far more so than any laboratory could ever hope to achieve. The vaccines are reducing the pool of hosts to provide mutations for if anything. It is an ideal virus for humans.

We must remember that viruses in the past have been constrained by limited access to hosts. I.E. if this virus had emerged in 1850 it very well may have burned out - possibly. But given the 21st century access - well in other words 150 years ago a virus may have had a hard time going from one village to another given the time and distance required, whereas today it can be in any city within a day. Think about that. It used to take weeks to get anywhere, and now it takes hours.

We've never had a nasty virus like this in a global modernized world where "Earth" is comparable to a few villages (how a virus sees it). And that can spread this easily. I mean if Ebola was this transmittal we'd have simply bombed the villages where it was and called it a day - for the sake of Earths population.

What is not helping is that it is lethal - but not small enough not to worry, and not great enough that it creates terror. I mean, if it was 0.1% then fine, we live with it like the cold, but if it were 5% lethal then gaining public support would be easy. It is in the Goldilocks zone at the moment which makes it a sneaky little shit. You can't panic, but you can't not panic.

From our perspective everything is chaotic, but the reactions are predictable from a top view. Sure science is settled that man is just a soulless automaton, but your reactions and behaviors are more easily forming a pattern when you are beaten down compared to when you are on the top of things and can think more creatively.

We are not living in a cool dystopia, this is like Care Bears level of villainy. They destroy love, fugs and friendships to break people down and make them sad. With all of those gone, all your validation comes from the media (be it passive or social) and the economy. subversion keeps the masses in check, what we're seeing is destabilisation to keep people in chaos. When a society is in chaos, they resort to their last 'good save state' or copy the behaviours of their group. I won't bang on about it, but Jonestown happened because those people thought killing themselves was the norm.

Combine the loss of reality/surroundings/psychological bearings to a person in 'survival mode', at least in respect to our societal norms and expectations, then it makes it very easy to create one path a small group, followed by the masses, will follow without question. If this sounds familiar, it's because it is. Trump - regardless of personal feelings of him and his leadership style, showed all of us how a group can be manipulated through chaos and the ground shifting beneath them. The current lockdown crisis is another example. Look at how normal, decent, law-abiding god-fearing Germans became the champions of genocide.
