I got 2, and will only clang them together when appropriate while listening to the stream. I don't engage on the forums at all, long time listener/reader first time "caller" but I love reading the forums and would get grifted again in support of my people watching. They look great and thank you for updates as well.

There's still delays before they can start striking but they made this one just for display purposes.

If you place an order now, you should still expect at least 4 months before it gets to you. If you placed an order before, we're waiting for COVID-19 restrictions to end (there's no date set yet) and then it'll be about 2 weeks to produce, ship to distribution, and then ship to final destination.

Are the next set of rounds going to have a different image or are they going to have Chris again?

I don't want to shift through 100+ pages to see if this has been answered but is there any chance of a gold ingot or round being minted for the autist with too much money?

Nool, Why do you hate Saint Terry that much? him calling you out as a Glowing CIA Nigger was very long ago, you should not shoot the messenger, forget and forgive.
Can't be arsed to gauge the earnestness of this question, but I think it's in fact out of respect for Terry. And also not wanting to deal with his estate for use of his likeness. But mostly respect.

From what I understand, there are some pretty substantial fixed costs to minting a batch of coins, regardless of what material they're made of. If you and 2 other dogecoin millionaires want to buy a gold coin you're going to have to split the $9000 setup cost (or however much it actually is) amongst yourselves too, raising the per-coin cost to some absurd level.
I mean, if you do want to pay $7000/ounce for a gold coin I bet Null would work with you on it, but he's probably going to want payment up-front for that. No take-backs.

Isn't the set-up the same for gold and silver, can't you use a cast meant for silver coins?

I didn't look up the actual numbers. Point is, you'd have to split the fixed cost, whatever it is, among the small number of gold buyers, and make it worth Null's time to do this instead of another batch of silver or whatever else.

An ounce of gold takes up less volume than an ounce of silver, so unless you mix in some copper and make it an alloy a la Krugerrands, you'd have to scale the cast down to a smaller size.

But gold is so expensive that the only way it could be financially feasible as merch is if it's done as small fractionals, which just means an even smaller coin. Not worth it, especially when the whole point was silver was the meme metal.
