Betting pool on who’s next: Lucy, Clover, Barb, or Chris himself.
My money's on Lucy or Clover sadly. Clover might not be taking Snoopy's death too well (And she's got most of the problems Snoopy had), and Lucy's pretty old IIRC. Barb and Chris feel like the kind of fucks that live long yet painful lives.

May Snoopy be treated with the fanciest chilidog godbear himself can cook. 🌭🌶

Is that about normal lifespan for a beagle? Idk last I heard he was overweight and I know that leads to tons of issues. Poor guy, at least he's not hurting anymore :(

Beagles with average owners who feed them regular dog food and get average visits to the vet for check-ups and vaccinations can easily live 13-15 years. Beagles who receive exceptional care from their owners, get fed high quality food or have fresh specialized meals made for them, and gets lots of regular exercise have been known to live twice as long as Snoopy. Chris and Barb are negligent pet owners that it's nearly abusive.

The dogs may be overfed with unhealthy foods, not having enough exercise and living in the dumpster that its Chris’ home, but for the pup it was probably the best thing ever. Dogs are animals that love unconditionally as long as they are fed and loved. Always sad to see a pet go.

I feel for Chris. Losing a dog is a painful experience, but the pup is in a better place at least. That said… man, it should’ve lived longer. Love goes a long way, but the poor dog will not be able to overcome the inevitable obesity and diabetes with pettings and constant feeding. But as with everything else, this has come to pass due to Chris’ lack of effort.

Godspeed, Snoopy. Now you will get to run all you want.

I’d wager a bad diet, lack of exercise, and an untreated leg injury, all contributed to obesity and likely really high cholesterol. That could lead to heart conditions (which you know wouldn’t have been diagnosed) or a stroke. There’s no way to know for sure of course but that’s my theory.
Not to mention the very likely UTI, as it was forced to go on newspaper filled floor because its owner couldn't be arsed to leave his room.
I feel no pity for Chris, I'm only happy that the animal no longer has to suffer.

I’m a bit upset over Snoopy, but that sympathy does not extend to Chris. He treats his pets like another object in his toy collection; he gets them, has that little rush of excitement, then it fades and he gets bored. This isn’t like Patti— Chris doesn’t give a shit. Snoopy & Clover were a way to keep Barb happy, that’s all they are to him.

Lucy has to be what, 14 or 15 at this point? That’s about the average lifespan of a housecat, and with the hellscape Lucy has to live in, I’m surprised she’s made it that long.

Realistically my money is on Lucy, but I can dream it’ll be Barb.

Even Patti wasn't like Patti.

Patti lived it's entire existence outside chained to a dog house in a small pen. Chris only got super sad because it was his childhood dog. They never walked it, or played with it. They went out and gave it a bowl of food once in a while. It happened to live long because unlike Snoopy and clover it probably got fed less being outside, and it actually burned calories by running circles in it's pen and shivering to near death during the winter and panting during the summer heat. It also didn't fall off a mound of garbage in the hoard and break it's leg and suffer with an injured leg, overweight, and understimulated it's entire existence.

Chris's family is a family that should not have pets. Not even fish, which sadly most people consider to be disposable pets. If you can't be fucked to take your dog for a walk and instead you let it shit in your fucking house on the floor, don't get a fucking dog.

When clover dies, do yourself a favor Chris and get barb a stuffed animal, her dementia won't let her tell the difference anyway

Now add on snoopy was fed canned soup in lieu of proper food, was never taken for walks or let out for exercise and much like Chris himself showed signs of premature aging and it's no wonder he passed so young.
He was a chunky lad alright (courtesy of the aforementioned chicken noodle soup), already looking old with greying fur nearly three years ago (7 December 2018 ):

Unfortunately there are a lot of pet owners like them in suburban and more rural parts of the south. If nothing else a lot of people simply aren't educated on proper pet care, backyard breeders are common along with dumping unwanted animals in random places. It doesn't make it ok, but it is one thing that's sadly not unique to Charb.

It's like Chris intentionally running over snakes, it's horrible but it's something he likely learned from all the other people around him that do it.

Snoopy at six years old.

Clover's eyes look like they are shouting for help. I hope she gets taken away, but that may never happen.

Holy hell, I didn't realize it was that bad.

Snoopy is clearly obese, with a dragging belly, is sitting in a "My leg is causing me pain" stance, and has a nervous posture.

But look at those nails on the paws! They look to have NEVER been trimmed and it was likely causing them discomfort to just walk around.

I feel bad for Chris losing a pet, but without Bob there to oversee stuff, Chris and Borb are fucking awful pet owners.

And fuck off with your merge shit stuff, Chris. It makes it really hard to feel sympathy when you're playing make-believe about this.
