I've been lurking this thread on and off for some time without an account and the first time I saw it was in early 2019 or so, before he really took of here but today 2 years later I decided to look this thread up again and noticed that it now has over 30 pages. I read through it all, and honestly the drama is just insane about him. It is damn true that a lot of the older stuff that he did has gone unnoticed, or vanished from the internet.
But does that mean that people from that time don't remember it? No, because I do remember it. I haven't talked to him now in years nor watched his videos in years, but I used to be active in his IRC channel together with Jerome whom is mentioned earlier in the thread and one another guy called Tom around 2013 to around 2017. These dutch guys are in one of the earlier meeting videos, 2012 or 2013 when they stayed in berlin.
If the video is still around unless Gatis deleted or unlisted it of course. Tom is also in the 2016 meeting video when they had the meeting in the netherlands, which is his actual house, so Gatis was a freeloader that early. Eventually he and Gatis fell out because he converted to veganism(?), at this point I dont know what to believe. All of Gatis friends either stay as a cult or they have a big fallout. It's all just a game for him, and enforces the insecurity theories people have about him.
Anyway, back then Gatis was not batshit insane, he was into conspiracy but not raw meat or flat earth etc and you could have a normal conversation with him about anything, including education work or school. The biggest topic for him was 9/11 having no planes and illuminati. About how the world was controlled by an elite and how everything they produced was made to controll and brainwash you. Especially music was his prime target in this matter. and he refused to listen to anything but underground screamo or metal because everything else was controlled by the "NWO", which is ironic that he now 9-10 years later listen to the same shit he loved in 2008 lol. Talk about being a hypocrite. Thats the problem with him, he is never consistent about the beliefs and his channel is all about being shocking. 5 years from now I bet he will stop eating raw meat or start playing RS again just to get money.
Ive met Gatis iRL, Im in one of his meeting videos. Im not going to say which one to not out myself too easy, but to tell my experience about him Im forced imply and give hints which vid it is and you can figure it out yourself and Im willing to go out with the info I have about him. A lot that is speculated in this thread through the 30 or so pages is surprisingly accurate from my POV but there is more, much more that is not said in this thread. Does he have siblings? Yes, he does. Im not going to say how many he has or what gender they are. Both they and his mother they live in the same city he used to live in in Germany at the time I meet him. Does he have problems with the law in Germany? Yes, yes he does, he has huge problems and a major fuckup that he is hiding to this day. He does not have a father, he is dead.
Is he a manipulative narcissist and a psychopath? Yeah he is, he was this even when I meet him in IRL but he does not show it. Gatis is an incredible video editor and knows Sony Vegas inside out, no doubt thanks to his video editing days from runescape. He was great at hiding this in his earlier videos but starting in 2018 he just stopped as he started to get a cult following. If youre a runescape veteran you no doubt know how much of an asshole he was even back in 2007. He went from nobody to an internet superstar over half a year with thousands of fans willing to do anything for him, including giving him free items if he asked. This no doubt made him act the way he does today.
Eventually this was put to the test. If you never played runescape basically he got hacked and his entire bank account wiped clean and begged his subscribers to give him free stuff so he could continue making videos lol. How much of this is actually true or not I can not answer. The first hacking? Probably real but the 10th hacking? I doubt it since he has now come forward as a manipulative person. He got literally thousands worth of american dollars in virtual items back so he could make more videos and he did show of some of the trades in his later pk videos at the credits. Too bad he didnt see it coming that it would be used against im 14 years later.
Even to this day in 2021 he uses people for his own monetary benefits to get around in the world and to live. Do you actually think he paid for the tickets himself to fly across the atlantic? Do you think he paid his own rent when he lived in Germany? Do you think he managed to get all the meat he bought in Germany? Do you actually seriously think he lives on his patreons?
Im going to tell from the start of what I know about him, Its a long read but it will be worthwile. Its going to start from the IRC channel back in 2013.
The IRC channel was mostly about music and just a social area and there were never more than perhaps 6 people on at peak. Most of them being ex members from Gatis old runescape clan Supernatural. Honestly it was just a plain generic IRC channel were we shared our own experiences about life and our thoughts on songs and how the world worked and how unfair it was for most of us, joking about RS etc was also common. Video games was a big subject, which Gatis had "stopped playing permanently" because its a "way for the NWO to control you" and brainwashing you. This was only around 2 years after he had quit playing RS and still had somewhat respect for this, and honestly us in the IRC just wanted to try it ourselves because frankly quitting video games and trying something else is not exactly a controversial thing and runescape at this point and turned into something alien for most of us anyway.
Both me, Tom and Jerome got interested in this path of life, and found something in common with Gatis and his vision and started to try emulate him in slight ways. Not by eating raw meat, staring at the sun or drinking our own piss but by questioning everything we were thaught in life and to question everything that was "mainstream". How the world was built around a certain group controlling the world and all of its information, by making us "plugged" and not able to see outside the box that is our brainwashed brains. How music and movies brainwashed us, why every song no matter the genre had similar constructs or why movies always had the same short cut camera angles. Gatis theory was simply alternative to everything else at the time, it was eye opening for kids aged 15-17.
Around 2013 he opened a forum, which was called AIFA or An Instrument For All which has now been shutdown long ago but it served the same purpose as the IRC channel and was never popular. It acted more as a library for his music and bands and thats basically it. Also advice for "brainwashed" people and how he could cure you. See a pattern here?
If anything the IRC channel was the prime communication and lasted as such for many many more years. AIFA got shutdown in 2014 and was revived sometime in 2017 when I assume he got some donations for it and then it was shutdown again lol. He never had a job at this time, and still dont. It never went up again after that, and honestly with the invention of discord it never will.
Most of the music shared was screamo, which was Gatis "addictive music" at the time. Credits to Gatis, he has a good musical library stored on his PC and various online sites were he uploaded compiled mixes free to download. It influcned my music taste to a degree and Both me and Jerome liked that kind of music at the time, and we also played guitar and had an interest in music so for me it made sense to stick around on the IRC channel. Things started to develope in 2015 when Gatis went to meet this finnish guy in late 2015 from the IRC channel and thats when the whole IRC meeting interest started. The video showed 2 guys having fun in northen finland and Gatis fucking around chopping down a tree yelling "99 wc guide IRL" and didnt take himself too seriously all the time, which obviously made us other want to also meet him as he seemed a fun guy to be around. I mean, who doesnt?
This was the time when he started also sungazing, something that he would post a lot about on his channel. Eventually this sungazing would lead to him collapsing of malnourishment, which would put him in a psychiatry hospital and somefuckinghow he managed to make himself being declared insane for the doctors at the hospital so he would recieve pension benefits from the german government, as he told me and jerome over when I meet him IRL. So yeah, if you ever wonder how he could affoard his lifestyle this is how he managed to do it.
In 2016 the first hints of Gatis weird personality started to show on the IRC channel but most of us didnt care too much. He started doing illegal shit such as shoplifting groceries and stealing peoples wallets. He always said that he was so happy when he managed to snatch someones wallet and it gave him a joy boost. He was always catious about this, he said he never did a snatch and run but instead waited for the victim to leave the wallet out of sight and then take it. But the real game for him was shoplifting, as it gave him more "joy".
He started telling us teens on IRC how easy it was to shoplift and that we should try it for ourselves, because he had been successfull so many times and nobody had really cared when he walked out the store in plain sight with extra meat in his hands.
He used to post pictures of the groceries he stole and brag about it on the IRC channel and he did this almost every single day. Mostly it was meat. yogurt and eggs he stole. Always organic of course, because it was more expensive. Back then he still ate cooked food and not raw food. This is the time when he meet his first "girlfriend", and yes, became her caretaker. Im going to go into detail later about her later but yeah, to confirm a rumor her parents are absolutely fucking loaded with money. And this is how Gatis financed himself for the most of 2016 and 2017, by stealing groceries, getting paid pension benefits and getting paid to take care of his girlfriend.
In the summer of 2016 the first real #Sv3rige meeting was starting to get organized and it would take place at Toms house in the netherlands. I didnt attend this one, but watching the video later when it was posted made me just want to meet these people. They all looked so damn cool, it was just young guys at this one place fucking around and having fun. After the video was posted, Gatis started to talk about raw meat in IRC and how it was much better than eating cooked meat. He also talked about vegans and vegetarians are "brainwashed" and malnourished and would die a slow and painful death. This was when the split really happened, and Gatis and Tom fell out. Tom was a vegan and didnt agree with Gatis "wisdom" and got promptly demodded and banned from the IRC channel.
So just a week after having spent a week at a IRC members house for free, getting free food and commidities Gatis just outright bans him and shuns him like nothing. See a pattern here in his later relationships down the line? Neither me or Jerome really objected, because Gatis told us Tom was stepped out himself and "cut off communcation" and that he would continue to be brainwashed forever. We never really had any kind of way to contact Tom to see his side of the story as he didnt want to talk to any of us anymore.
In early 2017 something in hindsight hilarious happened, Gatis got caught shoplifting like 50 euros worth of groceries and got off with a warning. No longer than a couple of weeks later he once again get caught shoplifting groceries and this time he is given a fine by the german authorities, and is warned that he will be sentenced to mental institute if he commits a crime again. This is why he is now so afraid of going back to Germany, he has a criminal record and is legally declared an insane person lol. Thats why you never see him doing "vegan protests" anymore in Germany but always do them in for example the Netherlands or UK.
in spring 2017, Gatis told us in IRC that he was planning to do IRC meetings a yearly thing, and he invited all of us to come stay at him at his apartment in berlin for this years meeting. A pretty cool offer of him tbh, and I wanted to see Kids ranqe in person at the time and meet Jerome. We all decided that it would be best to have the meeting in the summer, since most of us were students at the time and had summer breaks.
Fast forward to July 2017, and the meeting was happening. In total at this years meeting we were not many, only 6 people and we all lived in gatis apartment with his then "girlfriend". As speculated earlier in this thread yeah he was her caretaker. She was also very old, much much older than he was. I suspect she was around early 50s and Gatis got paid to take care of her. She would act as the cameraman most of the time during the filming of the meeting, and also ALWAYS keep quiet during filming. But when the camera was not on she would speak loud and mostly gibberish. She didnt speak much english, only very few phrases and I noticed from the moment I saw her that she was not mentally well. She suffered from severe autism and also suffered from OCD, she acted like a 12 year old around us and had a hard time concentrate on anything. She would just wonder off in her own world. An ideal choice for Gatis to abuse of course. Both me and Jerome figured it out that he got paid to take care of her quickly. And yeah, she never said "Gatis". She always said "mr Gatis" everytime she wanted ask him something.
One of the guys that was at the meeting had a car, so we drove around berlin and brandenburg and saw the countryside, visited landmarks and also a lake, on this lake there is an island with a beach and a walking trail and this is were gatis filmed the "self defence" video. We also watched a lot of movies and also discussed video games and its effects etc, brainwashing, flat earth, raw meat, that crazy stuff. At the time I didnt believe any of it and neither did jerome, we just wanted to meet up. But one guy that attended the meeting did and he and gatis became best buddies at the time and he would be featured in later videos.
Gatis acted surprisingly kind to us who visited him, he always asked us about our future, what university we were going to attend, what we worked with and what we thought about his videos and what he could improve on his videos. He didnt get mad at us if we contradicted something that he had said in his videos, or if we didnt believe everthing he said. He respected our opinions about the matter. Even with music, he liked listening to bands that he only 4-5 years ago considered shit and part of the illuminati. It was weird, but I assume a psychopath can act nice for a week until they start turning into their real selfs again.
One day we went into central Berlin and walked around in this mall. This mall had a butchers shop that Gatis apparently was a frequent customer of and on the same level of this butcher shop there was this chinese restaurant. The restaurant was located in the middle of the floor next to other shops, and was shaped as a circle so it was more of a fast food joint to eat at. Both me and Jerome were hungry so we decided to eat some food there. Meanwhile, Gatis being an absolute narcissist bought this huge fucking cow tongue from the butcher shop and started walking around on the floor eating it raw to the delight of everyone. He then walked into this more fancy restaurant and just stood at the entrance staring at people while eating the tongue and spitting pieces of it on the floor lol. Jerome told me that he didnt like it when Gatis did this, and that he was embarrassed about the situation. None of this was filmed by Gatis.
On one of the last days of the meeting me and Gatis then girlfriend would be alone in Gatis apartment, and thats when I got a bit horrified, she tried to tell me in her best english mixed with some german that she knew that Gatis was having sex with other girls, and that he had threathened her and hit her. He threathen her that he would leave her and hurt her if she told anyone. She said he had told her that he "owns" her and she must call him by "mr Gatis". She showed me her bruises on her chest and on her shoulders but she didnt dare tell her parents because then she would lose "mr Gatis" because in her mind he was her doctor and caretaker.
Gatis had put her on a raw meat and ketogenic diet by force to make her loose weight and stay healthy. He also told her about the illuminati and all the brainwashing in the world and that he was the only one in the entire world that really loved her. It was so fucked up it was unreal.
Eventually the meeting got to its end and everyone travelled home. the 2017 meeting film is very well edited by Gatis, he portrayed it the way he wanted it to be portrayed as 5 guys playing around and honestly he did a good job of it. But he never showed his girlfriend at the time like he was embarrassed by her and its a formula he keeps doing. He uses people for his own gains, all the food he purchased for us when we stayed for a week was paid by his girlfriends parents. And that food was ONLY organic expensive food, absolutely nothing else. I havent spoken nor kept up to what he has been doing since then and I dont intend to do so either. But from reading whats posted here it just gets more and more messed up and honestly Im glad its being brought properly. I cant understand how anyone can believe someone as insane as he is, he is stuck in his own world of denial as everyone arounds him leaves him.
he is the ultimate example of what happens when you have an abscent father in life.
