I haven't checked but is Lauren definitely a guy? I know Japan is fucking wild when they try to give characters western names but Lauren is a very clearly gendered name.
Nijisanji and Hololive seem to play fast and loose with romanisations and it ends up creating these gender and language mishaps. It's probably the same case as with Noel or with Luis Cammy: They were going for Noelle and Louise but instead picked the simplest transliteration for ノエル (noeru) or ルイス (ruisu) and ended up with what in English and Spanish are male names. In this case the katakana are ローレン (rôren) like the (originally male, nowadays mostly female) given name, although most results direct me to Ralph Lauren apparel. They might be going for the classiness that the Japanese public associates with the brand?

Shishiro Botan L'vovna
Technically the patronymic should be the middle name, so it's Botan Lvovna Shishiro. Nope, see the discussion below.

You can now rate this post autistic.

wasn't that watame's goal too? not sure how serious that is tho.
Yes, and that question would be pretty hard to answer. She have a time frame of within 3 years from now, but so far admit that she doesn't know how or done anything to get there yet. In a sense, Suisei already make her move with going out to wider audience through TV/Radio program and songs collab with a famous artist. Not like they're competing though. Whoever reach it first will make it easier for the other to follow.

Patronym in Russian isn't a middle name. So your post isn't autistic, it's just wrong.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought legally all Russian names were Given first name + Patronymic middle name + Family last name, e.g. Nikolai Alexandrovich Romanov or Anna Stanislavovna Shcherbakova.
Patronym belongs after First name, that's it. Patronym is Patronym, it's a separate entity from Middle name.
Botan Lvovna Shishiro, Shishiro Botan Lvovna or Botan Lvovna are proper ways to use Patronym.
Thank you for in turn making myself feel autistic.
Putin ended up in a discussion about Slav names
You brought it up. I thought you came up with that. Or did you see it somewhere else?
So she can be Botan Lvovna-Shishiro (marrying into the hololive family).
You've just connected a patronym with a family name.
L'vovna is a patronym form of https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lev_(given_name)

I see, I'd only read about the subject from the perspective of English naming conventions, so I never thought of it as the continuation of the first name more than what we associate with middle names. Thanks for the clarification.

You brought it up.
Yeah, but you know, it was just a reply joke about Botan's "slavness". I just google searched to see how Putin's wife was called, and BOOM, Empress of the Russians, Botan Shishiro Putina was born. Never intended to become something of an actual discussion.

I get where you are coming from but Putin and Botan together doesn't sit right with me. Despite the fact that Putin being an actual monarch isn't that far from reality.

Another day, another Aruran stream without an ao-upa. He's at over 4400 bred now. Ollie showed up in the chat, and (from my limited Japanese), it seems she drew this lovely image for him (sent it to him on Discord and he showed in on stream):

Selen is streaming Apex now. I have no interest in or knowledge of Apex, but had to tune in to see this at least.
She says she's nervous and her hands are shaking, but even though she's off to a rough start, you can easily see the skill through that.
For the most part her brand new account is being placed with teammates that are actual beginners, more of a detriment than a help, pretty much forcing her to try and take 1v3s.

She has 16 kills and 4k damage. I don't know much about apex too, but chat is kinda going crazy.
Aaaaaand she just won her fist match on stream.
