Nijisanji and Hololive seem to play fast and loose with romanisations and it ends up creating these gender and language mishaps. It's probably the same case as with Noel or with Luis Cammy: They were going for Noelle and Louise but instead picked the simplest transliteration for ノエル (noeru) or ルイス (ruisu) and ended up with what in English and Spanish are male names. In this case the katakana are ローレン (rôren) like the (originally male, nowadays mostly female) given name, although most results direct me to Ralph Lauren apparel. They might be going for the classiness that the Japanese public associates with the brand?I haven't checked but is Lauren definitely a guy? I know Japan is fucking wild when they try to give characters western names but Lauren is a very clearly gendered name.
