Dave needs the shiny things dood plus a stream deck. I laugh because I bought a new PC 6 months ago for about $400 and it runs circles around his crap. Its not for gaming or a beast but handles my daily business or browsing stuff. Its an HP: ryzen 5 3400g with 16 gb 2666 ram...Why can't Dave make decent choices. Don't you know that alienware or asus has that blast processing so Dave can snipe the shit out of those trolls with lightning quick lean ins lol.

I'm not really sure I understand the play here.
He either:

A) Was actually gifted the laptop. Phil, why is the laptop more important than your house or taxes? Why would you ask a fan to buy you a laptop as opposed to ensuring you have a home?
B) Purchased the laptop himself but is lying to make it appear as though he has less money than he does.

But it doesn't even matter since both situations lead to the same questions: why a laptop over your actual bills?
Why even say you got a new laptop? Your viewers aren't going to know about your new laptop - it doesn't affect them at all and they never see it. If you can hide a cat for about a year surely you can hide a laptop.
What is to be gained by showing off this laptop? It only raises more questions about your financial situation and seems awfully suspect given last week's "gift" and their shared proximity to the marathon.

He doesn’t have time and he won’t do it unless he’s on the clock, but that’s when he plays games, so nothing he can do except hire an assistant (which other people are going to need to pay for also).
