Just remember, this is the dude who claimed he was spending over FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS A MONTH ON HIS BUSINESS on his bankruptcy form. And yet despite, apparently, spending 5 stacks a month every month for several years on streaming, he has never been able to afford a new laptop, and has always had to beg for every new console.

And then he buys one and it's the trashiest fucking one he could possibly get for his needs. Does it seriously have 12GB of RAM? What's wrong, couldn't spring for the computer with 16 whole gigabytes? Jeeeeeeeeesus.

I'm going to assume you're joking. He has very little deductions. The percentage the room is compared to the condo, percentage of electric use, and unneeded biz internet. That's it. He isn't buying games (he's getting refunds after he fails at them), consoles, or laptops so they can't be deducted.

He doesn't buy anything for the business to worry about sales tax. His life is not a business deduction.

It’s not his business, it’s his personal spending habit that’s eating into his income. Buying his Xbox and pc in Oregon would mean he won’t have to pay a sales tax in Washington state. He should also take advantage of the bottle deposits in Oregon to get some extra money on the side. It’s 10c a can or bottle for returning it. As I said before, Phil isn’t going to leave the house for anything so this advice is moot.

That usually means 4GB is soldered onto the mobo and then there's an empty slot for upgrades. Another possible configuration of Dark's laptop is 20GB which would be a 16GB stick in the upgrade slot instead of the 8 he has. Differently sized sticks are not an issue anymore because of flex memory. The biggest downside is that your upgrade capability is limited to 1 slot which can get quite expensive if you want a lot of RAM (a 64 GB stick is like $500-$600 vs 2x32 which go for $300 total). But for most users 20GB is already overkill.

For what he is trying to do with the Laptop anything over 4GB would be fine, he is going to do almost exclusively chrome browsing. The most hardware stressing task he might do is chromecast some wrestling or Netlfix on to his TV. Honestly he could do that with his iPhone right now if he wanted to. Maybe Discord as well. I don't doubt for a second that he will make another account and start-up the discord mod Ops again by the end of the year.

My understanding is that he's ineligible from accessing money on credit from most financial institutions and credit lenders for about another four and half years now, so logically he shouldn't be using a credit card right now or asking any banks for a business overdraft or anything.

That doesn't really rule out that he can access money elsewhere if he really wants from some dodgy place that doesn't want to follow his bankruptcy terms, like some shifty credit union or a pawnbroking establishment that offers you pay day loans...

Love the fact the muscle atrophy comments get under DSP's skin. It's a simple undeniable fact of the human body, no wild detract theorycrafting required. By all accounts from the man himself he does zero physical activity outside of his weekly grocery shopping which he bitches about every week.
