felt very weird looking at people masked up with 35°+ C, it probably was the signal that this is not going to end, people still believe there is no treatment to this.

Unless legally required, I wouldn't wear a mask when it's that hot or humid out. I had to go someplace where masks were required of all people indoors. It was humid enough I left it off until I set foot inside. I feel for those who have breathing issues during the summer or year-round that have to deal with this.

Now everywhere is closed from 11 or midnight until 6 or 7am.

I know the real reason is management was tired of paying employees for low traffic hours and used the pandemic as an excuse, but I don’t get the COVID logic as to why they did it.

Keep in mind that the media frenzy about COVID has left many people buying into the hype and feeling too afraid to leave the house for practically anything. Sure, groceries are necessary/essential; and shopping overnight might be a good way to avoid the rush of people during the day, but with so many people afraid to even go shopping (or letting their groceries air out even after that was long debunked or retracted as a good idea), it wouldn't surprise me if people are skittish about going out to stores during the midnight/overnight hours unless they absolutely have to.

The fact that stores get to save on expenses during off-peak times is just an added bonus.

Empirically, it sounds like people opposed to vaccines are calling places en masse to demand contact information for someone they can talk or write to about their views. Someone I'm acquainted with has to answer the phone at her job and has mentioned that she's been fielding a large influx of calls from people wanting to write a letter to someone in charge discouraging vaccinations and such. When asked, though, the people calling have neither ties nor a relationship with the organization they're calling. A letter-writing campaign is one thing, but behaving like a Karen towards to low-level person stuck with taking calls isn't going to win any influence, either -- especially when these folks act like a personal army or Twitter hate mob. Spoiler: Letters and petitions sent in those circumstances usually get shitcanned.

There is a degree I can understand the issue with that seintment. Though in my day to day life, just seems that people have just stopped caring and totally tuned out the bullshit. Well the delta variant talks have my mom scared shitless suddenly, so whatever they're spewing on TV is actually working for some. She had just reactivated her gym membership too and now she's at war with herself. Not to power level too much but I have working knowledge that there are just as many "breakthrough" cases as regular cases in my city via my current job but even when you try to tell people that they won't listen. I even had an older guy ask me about booster shots today and he had a very mild illness experience overall. Good luck with that, sir.

I find alot of this very odd. It is never an athletic long covidian or standard size kid but obese individuals who look so unfit and unwell. These people would die of so many things and everyone knows it. Surely; the correct optics to keep the scare going would be stories of the fit and well, not the nearly dead. It makes sense though as it is very hard to find the fit people that are in trouble, but why the fuck do they run stories with the obese? . Maybe you saw the guy, the other day, who was one of the recurring 'i didn't beleive in the vaccine and didn't get jabbed but now I need oxygen' stories. He was some forrin who was super fit and cycled and ran etc. Fucking hell you could see he would've easily displaced all of the water in a fucking bath. He wasn't super fit he was super fat. It was BBC or Guardian.

All i can think is that money gets made out of fatties in food/meds and media stories normalise being obese, so that revenue stream is maintained, AND money also made out of people scared to be fat and dead/ridiculed by the same media story of Mr. O Bese, so they buy gym passes, bicycles, expensive wholesome foods etc. It is some kind of advertising. Maybe on some outlets there actually are adverts alongside these obese stories for gyms, real food, cakes, bikes, etc.

Well if the intention was to scare people into living healthier, they fucked that up big time by forcing everyone to stay home and encouraging them to eat junk food and takeout, so that's clearly not it.

No, the reason they never run stories of healthy people getting BTFO by the coof is because there really aren't any, or at least not enough to force a narrative of "this virus can kill anyone!" They have to roll with what they've got, but that doesn't mean they can't obfuscate the truth. As we've seen over and over in this thread, anytime they run a story about how a kid got fucked up or killed by the coof, they always bury the lede that the kid was a hamplanet. It scares people who don't look further than the headline (which is quite a few, sadly). If you can't control reality, control the context. (Insert MGS2 video here.)

Frankly, it's considerably more concerning that there's a not-insignificant amount of reports of generally healthy people getting killed by the jabs, not just hamplanets and olds. The powers that be are doing their best to avoid reporting on this, but with more vaccine-related deaths reported to VAERS than in the past 20 years combined (and climbing), I have to wonder how long they can keep it under wraps. The full scale of this might be far worse, and that's alarming.

On a more lighthearted note, I was talking with a few fellow church members this past week, and the topic somehow ended up on the coof. One of them was talking about a lot of what we've been discussing here about how the vaccines are bunk, and I'd be damn surprised to find out he goes to the farms, so this info is still being disseminated despite Big Tech censorship. He also joked about getting a T-shirt made that says "COVID-19 Vaccine Control Group," which gave me a good chuckle.

They don't know it, though. They don't want to know it. People are deeply, deeply in denial about their weight, both about how fat they actually are and how much it affects them. It's not just HAES landwhales, it's mildly tubby guys crying "muh BMI doesn't account for muscle mass" even though the only lifting they ever do is lifting their phone to order takeaway, and and it's mildly chubby girls insisting Marilyn Monroe was a size 14 but ignoring that in modern sizing that's an XS. People don't want to know, they want to think they're okay and they're happy with their warped perception that tells them that they're not overweight, those fit people are just too thin.

Also, "no reason for anyone to go out"? Online grocery delivery isn't always available or affordable, there was a time when there were no available delivery slots for months because everyone had the same idea.

And how about those "essential" workers? Y'know, like convenience store workers and restaurants? They don't always have the means to go online for one reason or another, nor can they afford to shut down for months. And they're the lucky ones since they get to operate (albeit at a loss), and still be employed while the rest of us are either laid off or offered a "voluntary unpaid leave" (like in my case).
