I can't say Ralph Sepe (the love child of George Michael Bluth and Maeby) because he never had quality to begin with. All I ever hear him say is "this movie is bad"; "X is so bad"; "X is garbage"; "this movie is good"; why, Ralph? For the love of film please explain. But he can't explain because he is a low IQ poser who bases his opinions off of the general consensus. Even his shitting on Doug is terrible.

Nostalgia Critic videos used to be under 10 minutes.
These days, some of them are 1 hour long. the fuck?
Same with Cinemasins, used to be under 10 minutes, now it's at least 15 on average.
RLM, as much as I like them, Plinkett used to be the long stuff, now everything is the long stuff and it's getting tedious.
YMS, the videos that got him big were all under 15 minutes, his last proper video was 2.5 hours long.

A lot of people are making their shit longer, (most of them in order to fit in more ad breaks, not all but most), and they lose what made them appealing in the first place.
I guess there's still an audience for that but in my very very humble opinion, all the Youtubers who constantly make their stuff longer and longer are a disease.
We need to defund all the COVID-19 vaccine research and get rid of them first.

Stop what your doing reevaluate your life and think am i serosly doing a reciew on some guys oppinion on fucking Star Wars. Just so i can defend the Prequels three films that aren't as bad as RLM autisticly implies but not as good as the originals. Get a life. Also Ralph Sepe dude is fine "reviewing" a bad film because all you have to do is show how bad it is and say this is bad. But anytime he reviews a big budget hollywood film that is average at best and treat it like its shit. Remember he makes shitty movies where he can't get the audio mixing right. Also add on this list is RLM there overrated and treated as gospel. There not there a company started by friends in Wisconsin and got famous for autisticly reviewing the Star Wars prequels average at best movies except for 3 which is 4/5 and treating it like its absolute garbage when its not and better and more entertaining then the movies they made. Funny how RLM and Cinemasscre has friends in hollywood mostly washed up b-listers who come on because nothing better to do and colout for a bigger audience then late night shows. Its funny for what started out as reviews on the internet turning into gospels of worship.

Biggest decline is CinemaSins for me. It started off as nitpicking for comedy, but to get maximum shekels, he had to find enough nitpicks to last 20 minutes, but the movies he watches aren't bad enough to justify 20 mins so he has to pad out his videos with even more resentment. His content also teaches people to watch movies in a negative, nitpicky way instead of getting the bigger picture and asking if the scenes further the goal of the movie.

The combo that makes youtube so much better is uBlock to block youtube's ads and Sponsorblock to block the baked-in ads the uploader puts in.

Seriously, without Sponsorblock I probably would've stopped using youtube, it automatically skips all Raid shadow legends ads and shit on pretty much every video I've tried due to it's active userbase constantly feeding it sponsor timestamps, site's practically unusable without it. You can also set it to skip merch shilling as well which also have timestamps fed by the userbase.

The structure of livestreams being a complete clusterfuck is one thing but when you do scripted work it's very easy to hide the fact that you have the personality of a wet blanket, no such luck when you sit in front of a camera for 5 hours trying to put together basic sentences live on air.

That aside, I agree with the general opinion that Youtuber's in general have dropped a bit in quality. I feel like part of that has to do with Twitch and Streaming. This doesn't apply to all, and I could be dead wrong, but I swear once a Youtuber gets popular enough that they can pull in a decent amount of people to their Streams the quality in the stuff that made them famous either starts to drop or they just upload it less frequently as they focus more time on Steaming. After all, why spend hours and hours on something that'll only pull in a fraction of the cash that Steaming for an afternoon or two will make?

The date depends on which period of YouTube history you are in, and it has only decreased from a decade or a few years to a few months.
