Have you ever seen DSP make a micro transaction on stream ? Even if he did once or twice would it make up for all of that debt? As far as I can tell he doesn't buy anything for his business. He is even saying fans donate equipment to him furthering the 5k in business expenses lie. He can't have it both ways. He can't be buying all this stuff for the business and at the same time have no money and have fans donate it.

I'm really shocked he got away with his bankruptcy. It shows how broken the system is. They did practically zero investigating and just took his word for everything.

Sega was pretty ahead of its time when it came to online gaming. I remember way back in the day my friend's dad would play the PC version of Virtua Fighter 2 online (I'm talking the actual PC version not the shitty emulated MegaDrive/Genesis version on Steam), it was apparently a pain in the ass to set up but it did have an actual working online VS mode. It also had a bunch of other stuff that was ahead of its time, it had something called Expert or Ranking Mode or whatever which was a precursor to the Quest Mode in VF4 and vanilla VF5. The opponents were "ghost" AI which would adapt to your playstyle and you could download other players' AI data. It was of course pretty rudimentary, but they did perfect it in VF4Evo, the high rank AI opponents do actually feel like playing against a good human player.

But that's enough boomering and thinking of the good ol' times from me.

I'm sure there's a breakdown of his estimated expenses that comes nowhere to 9k but Dave himself claimed only 5k in expenses on his bankruptcy. So him now saying his expenses have gone up 4k since getting all these debts discharged is fuckin ridiculous.

I am laughing my ass off about Dave's new laptop still. I shop at micro center for some of my electronics and wouldn't you know they have an HP with the same specs as his acer for $450 on sale and $520 regular price. The ryzen might be better in this HP laptop as well.

I’m not sure Phil’s selection criteria so much relied on specs or ratings as cost and how far toward the top of the page it appeared on the Target dot com website.

ETA the possibility that Phil got this from Target makes me wonder if Target is simply the large retailer closest to his house currently offering curbside pickup so the lazy paranoid shit didn’t even need to leave the safety of the Toyota to receive it.

I think the most egregious statement Phil made is that the 5k is for "maintenance and upgrades".
When have we ever seen Phil do either of those things in the entire decade of his recorded life?
He used the exact same laptop, which by Phil's own words was a outdated hunk of crap, for several years. When he experienced "problems" with his PS5 controller, he ordered his fans to buy him a new one. He's only ever replaced things that he bricked over the years.

Not really, it's probably for the best for society overall that first-time personal bankruptcies are easy and lenient. Not many of those are from rich guys with no job, no assets, and gambling addictions.

He eventually admits it's not 9k but says he doesn't know what it is. His very first sentence should have been 'it's not 9k'. But he wants the chairs to believe it is which I would think even they have a hard time believing since he does absolutely nothing in his life. Since he won't admit to wwe, they have to be thinking he's stashing cash and might be why the tips are starting to dry up.

It really was a combination of DSP having no assets to seize, and Nancy simply having better things to do with her time.

This is before my theory that Nancy passed it through because she was getting sick of "helpful emails" from autists trying to be the one to gatcha DSP.

Edit: I also agree with @SaidNoOneEver that COVID also played a role.
