In phil's case it would be the wolverine toy in pristine condition, still in the packaging and enclosed in a glass display case, sitting on a marble pedestal. Also, a little plaque at the base that says "First Edition".

The 4th game is the one that resides in my heart, but I've grown to love the entire series, warts and all.

I dunno, every game has stand outs. The first game has the best cast and story for me, but I recently completed 4/5/6 for the first time and found a lot to love there. I think every game in the series may not have the best cast (2 and 4 are carried by their protags) but they're all successful in the sense I like everyone and wouldn't mind seeing them again.

To tie the discussion back to Phil, it's a shame he wouldn't play a Disgaea game because of his bans on JRPGs. I'd love to see some DSPuritan action going when Laharl gets attacked by sexy buxom women, and then hear him giggle like Butthead when he fights the zombie with the horse wiener. He'd like that you can just pump up one character and brute force your way to the end.

His ban on JRPGs didn't stop him from playing Yakuza 7 or Nier Replicant. :optimistic::optimistic:

The movie theater experience has always been one of my favorites, so I'll go through the traditional route of buying my shit at the theater

The thing is, I can manage my money properly...DSP complains about movie theater prices, proceeds to regularly spend $40+ on doordash and even more on a mobile game. That is what I don't get.

Yeah, why the hell would anyone pay a bunch of money to watch a movie for 2 hours?
Giving someone $200 to play video games for 2 hours, now there's the appeal

He’s also living on a coast, and smack in the middle of one of the largest tech-centered areas of the country where, believe it or not, a good deal of the people around him are making just as much if not more a year as he is.
