As I recall, Peetz was in charge of the internet connection before they moved in to The Luxury Villa©, his employer provides internet but it's not for his/their personal use at all. It seems like she watches most her shows on Netflix, Hula or Prime on the lg smart tv in the living room so I don't think they ever did have cable on that tv. She's probably referring to getting a cable channel subscription (or Hulu Live) so she can watch 90 Day Fiance on TLC on her phone. She watches tv/movies on her cell phone in her room at at her sugar baby's crackhouse (remember when recently she paid $29.99 for some new release superhero movie he wanted to watch and fell asleep instead of watching it?)
I strongly doubt that she was ever the major breadwinner in her relationship with Bibi. They started out with her chipping in on part of the rent (there was another roommate back when she first moved in and his "sister" had lived there off and on over the years) After she was fired from her admin job, Bibi was paying almost all of the monthly living expenses and Chantal's responsibility was buying the groceries/food- which caused problems because she started ordering more and more takeout deliveries and neglecting the grocery shopping, Bibi was always pissed when there was nothing to prepare meals with.
As I understood it, he already had that apartment and she moved in with him, one pillow/tote bag of lingerie & sex toys at a time. They stayed in that shitty cockroack-infested apartment forever because it was on the ground floor so she did not have to use an elevator and it had a heated parking garage so she didn't have to dig her car out or get jumpstarts during winter. Interesting to note that she is the one who purchased most of the wall art and decor for that place- tacky as it was, she didn't seem to have the same "I don't know how to decorate" problems back then.
Chantal has always been financially irresponsible, she was living with Bibi when she filed bankruptcy. If I remember correctly, back before she had this Kia, she had purchased a new vehicle (I think when she started her Admin job) and Bibi had to cosign her car loan. She began having problems making the payments on time after she was fired (after the settlement and unemployment money ran out before she was making much on YouTube) and Bibi told her the car had to go- she never made it clear what happened to that car but at the time I assumed it went back to the dealer before or under the terms of the bankruptcy because she never said anything about selling it- Bibi insisted that the car had to go because his credit would be affected. Chantal's story was that it was her choice to sell the car as part of her weight loss journey, she intended to "walk everywhere" that lasted about for 2 blocks then the used Kia showed up. Pretty sure her grandma bought it or financed it for her.
This is kind of what I was getting at. She starts off as the sugar momma. Leads them into a false sense of security and makes promises that she will never keep like taking care of domestic duties. Then slowly shows her true colors, but by then they cannot easily get out of her set up.
She has to have
something that these guys want. Because at face value, she is insufferable- lying,dirty, unwashed, lazy, fat, uneducated, socially awkward, and has the personality of a wet lobster mac and cheese fart. Money, or the appearance of money, would make her instantly attractive for some. There is a reason she fancies foreign men.
As far as Bibi, she was employed in the beginning of their relationship. Then she quit (or was fired) leaving Bibi holding the bag. There was a span of time between her being jobless, getting severance/unemployment, then having to rely on her shit show of a YT channel for her income. By the time she started to rake in the YT bucks, I have strong doubts her and Bibi were doing anything except sharing an apartment.
She is absolutely financially irresponsible and irresponsible in her life in general. She isn't generous unless it's to her advantage, which makes it transactional. She wouldn't care if Bibi (or Gran) was in debt, her money would be her money. She might chip in for some bills, but she wouldn't give two shits if she ran up his (or her family's) credit cards or depleted his debit for bullshit like pizza. I often wonder if that's why she hid the pizza boxes. Not out of shame that she ate them, but so Bibi wouldn't lose his shit over the money.
Bibi always looked like he was uncomfortable with her in all of her social media. We used to joke he was being held hostage. I think that by the time we started to become acquainted with Bibi, which was several years into their living together, he was done with her but had no real option to leave at that time. He worked to pay off the debt she stuck him with while she did her YT bullshit. He put his foot down with the car because he was not going to get sucked in again.
There have been things over the past few years that never fully made sense to me, but my Scooby ears have perked up over some of her drugged out musings of late.
I guess what I'm sperging about is that Chantal doesn't change. She operates a certain way and that way is based upon deceit. Peetz and Bibi were decent people, strange and maybe annoying, but not horrible people. Nader is just as bad, if not worse, than she is. Now drugs have entered the chat. I fully believe she is pulling the same sugar momma stunt on Nader, she's about to get played at her own game.
