Phil baffled that people are considering boycotting games published by Activision-Blizzard, calling it a “knee-jerk reaction”.

Besides his exceptional wording, this is hilarious coming from the guy who boycotted Atlus after they issued a strike against his YouTube channel.

I think the vast majority of people play what they enjoy and don't really care about what teh suits do. I'm certianly in that camp.

The thing I don't get is even if he did pass off the mobile games as businesses expenses, why don't they consider whether these expenses are even justified or a good business decision? It makes no sense that if dsp is running this business that it supposedly costs him $5k per month to operate and this has led him to bankruptcy, why does he get his debts erased and then is allowed to keep operating that same business in the same manner that led him to bankruptcy?

My assumption is because Phil had paid a massive amount of interest already and he's relatively small potatoes first-time offender that they're not going to bother with.

Financially, Phil didn't get away with anything, he probably paid 6 figures in interest over the years because you know he only did minimum payments. He effectively got a mulligan because he's stupid and they hope he'll learn his lesson and that this bankruptcy procedure would be very embarrassing for people who are human. Alas, they were never going to spend many hours doing their detractor homework and thus had little idea what they were dealing with in Philip Paul Burnell.
