The thing is the hate crime never got far enough to get to that point. If you murder somebody you get a murder charge, if you attempt to and fail you get an attempted murder charge. Hate crimes tend to be pretty particular about having to actually commit the act to a reasonable degree to qualify as a hate crime, else you'll never be able to prove it happened. It would be like charging someone for a hate crime for intending to leave a plate of bacon outside the mosque as some kind of fuck you islam attack but all the guy did was get to the point of buying a pound of bacon. This particular application of a hate crime is questionable at best. There is also the fact that theres no real basis for it anyway. Sure, he intended to kill women.....so what? Women aren't a protected class, or a religion or a race. You don't get charged with a hate crime if you walk into a police station and shoot a bunch of cops, you get prosecuted for murder, and there is no way in hell a femcel doing exactly what this guy did would get charged with a hate crime if she only targeted men

Incels are obsessed with being "the best man" their woman ever had. They think that if they marry a non-virgin, she'll spend the rest of her life reminiscing and pining over the drunken weekend she spent with Chad. They tell themselves these stories about how women will do anything - forego all their morals and stated preferences, destroy their relationships and well-being - for the chance to spend a single night with a really hot dude. It's not sex or commitment these guys want. It's totally uninhibited animal passion, of the kind that no one actually experiences outside of bad smut and romance novels.

You could point out to them that it's all a retarded porn-sick fantasy, that women really don't value getting dicked over all else, that marrying a man is a much bigger commitment than fucking him once - but the fear of being cuckolded is deeply rooted in the male psyche. Once the prospect of being "settled for" has gotten into these guys' heads, they're pretty much ruined for life.

Also, JFL at the idea that incels could function, let alone be better off, in a traditional society. The very existence of incels is a product of modernity. Traditional societies killed off their excess men through warfare and grueling coming-of-age rituals.
