I've read One to Watch, because I hate myself, and I think I actually sperged out about it on the Farms. The main character is a total self-insert Mary Sue who is like, a totally fuckable Boss Bitch despite being lol fat. She's exactly the kind of character Anna O'Brien thinks she is.

Punishment implies intent. The thins are not sitting in a room cackling as they inject you with diabeetus on your 10th anniversary of being a lardbarge, secure in the knowledge that they are reinforcing their own standing in the fat-thin hierarchy by making sure you are duly punished for your gluttony. One thing fatties are actually right about is that you can get away with more if you're a healthy weight. This is because you lose your "at least" when you're overweight or severely underweight. (The Eugenias of the world don't get a pass.)

Post #21,425 has me scratching my head. I may be in a fashion backwater but I'm not seeing any women walking around in overly large clothing. Some may wear an item a size or 2 too large if they want that look but I'm not seeing a woman who would normally wear a 12 swanning around in a Torrid size 3. I doubt it's fellow death fats either - they have a tendency to buy too small to begin with.

But if it were the case that skinnies are snatching tarps out from under the noses of larger woman - that's capitalism & a steady pattern of that would result in higher numbers of items being manufactured & ultimately, more choice.

That first video... what fat people don't seem to understand is that a skinny person can't just wear a 3x item of clothing and expect it to look good or be wearable whatsoever.

Oversized clothing meant for thin people is cut completely differently from plus sized clothing. A skinny girl can't wear a pair of plus size jeans as "oversized" without looking ridiculous because the waistband just has too much excess material to look anything but sloppy and weird. they also add some extra room in the front to accommodate a fupa, which ends up becoming an awkward fanny pack of sagging denim.

I tried on some of my fat tops after losing weight and the necklines are ridiculously huge compared to normal clothing. Like a top thats supposed to have a modest neckline exposes my bra levels of large.

I know there are people who actually do buy larger clothing for materials and sewing projects but they really aren't very common.

thrift stores probably have fewer plus items because fatties get grease stains all over them and their rolls rubbing wears them down, thus rendering them unsellable. And that's before you begin to address the smell issue

For me, an oversized shirt is size large or xl. If you're obese enough to complain about hypothetical skinny bitches buying all the clothes in your size and leaving you with nothing, your clothes are way too big for an actual normal weight person to wear without looking completely absurd.

Edit: oh God she wears 4x fucking leggings. A normal woman could fit her whole body into each leg with room to spare
