Just a thought I had the vast majority of morbidly obese women tend to be short obviously being short makes it easier for you to be classified by the BMI as overweight but aside from that do tall fat women simply not exist?
I'm late to this, but just so you know, BMI takes height into account. There's no "being short makes it easier for you to be classified...as overweight". For some reason, this is a pretty common misconception, and several of the deathfats have suggested the same.

You can see her fat popping out the sides of the "chair"

I'm glad somebody cared enough to put that kiddo in a life vest, given that she's only now "getting stable enough" on that kayak. I'm still amazed at how high she's sitting, and it's all on a cushion of fat. It wouldn't take much to tip that cow over, and there's no way she could right herself or get back on the kayak if she tips.

She still can't hold the fucking paddle correctly, LOL.

I think they mean being short makes it easier to get fat because shorter means you burn fewer calories so eating ""normal"" portions is too much for someone who's short, and thus you're more likely to be overweight/obese despite eating ""normally""

Being short or tall has nothing to do calorie burning capacity.

Ten extra pounds on a 5’1 body will show up a lot more than ten pounds on a 6’1 body.

I think people get confused because a 150 lb woman that’s 5’1 looks really chunky but a 5’10 woman who is 150 lb looks very slim. Your ideal weight is just directly tied to how tall you are, it’s proportional and why BMI requires height and weight.

What? Being short or tall 100% affects calorie burning capacity. A tall person has a naturally higher basal metabolic rate because larger person = more calories required to operate. All other things equal, a 5'0 woman absolutely cannot eat the same amount of maintenance calories as a 6'0 woman without gaining weight. The other stuff you said is correct.

Yeah, a sedentary 30-year-old 5'0" woman with a BMI of 23.4 has a BMR of 1180 to 1315 (depending on the formula per Sailrabbit) while a sedentary 30-year-old 6'0" woman with a BMI of 23.4 has a BMR of 1600 to 1615. That's an entire extra sizable snack or smaller meal per day. It also seems that many shorter people still have large appetites or want to eat mindlessly, and that's where the complaining about portions and calories while being short comes into play. (And I really have no idea if short people are naturally supposed to have smaller stomachs, less desire to eat as much, more leptin production, etc., though I'd be curious to know that.)

And of course the above scenario changes if we're comparing a short woman and a tall woman not by BMI but by weight. However, a 6'0" woman who weighs 120 pounds (that's what a BMI of 23.4 is for a 5'0" woman) would have an anorexic BMI of 16.3 while 120 pounds is healthy and normal, sometimes even chubby if someone has a very small build, for a shorty.

Edit: Here's J from behind. She can only just slightly bend forward to roast a marshmallow, and I can still see the gunt hanging out in front.
