Probably weighs them down too. Scary.Damn, even when they're playing in a drainage ditch with "water tubes" jill refuses to budge with allowing the girls to wear anything other than long dresses.

What the hell? Everything that could go wrong is speeding through my mind. A child could get a cut and pathogens could be introduced. (Side note: stormwater runoff typically has a certain level of feces.) Invisible currents could drag a child down. Perhaps a downed live power line? I am shocked a Rod baby has not died with the amount of insanity that encompasses this family. They played in a public storm drain ditch.... The water is going pretty fast and it's pretty deep. Young ones in without a life vest. Honestly morons. Plus that water is extremely dirty. Tried linking a video but was not letting me. They even went into the large pipe (I forget what its called).

Yeah if you go to their Facebook and watch the videos the waters running pretty quickly. If one kid slipped under or got stuck on debris they wouldn't see them in the muck. This was at a park so I'm sure they are swimming in bugs, animal shit, and chemical run off. What the hell? Everything that could go wrong is speeding through my mind. Are farmers sure there is not an unmarked grave hidden somewhere from the before times? (Back when Jill did not overshare online every ridiculous thing she does or allows to happen.) Without a doubt, at least a handful of people are reporting Jill and Dave to CPS in multiple states, and Jill is incriminating herself on a daily basis. Multiple people at CPS need to lose their jobs. I would expect at least a pathetic parenting class sentence and some form of court oversight. Normal people get on CPS's shit list for letting their children play in a safe, fenced backyard unsupervised, but these cretins can let their starving children play in dangerous places and it is above reproach.
I guess bathing suits aren’t allowed for girls in the Rodd household. It’s not like they just jumped into the water as a lark - they brought fucking float is and rafts so that was their chosen swim attire. So much fun to “swim” in long wet fabric that weighs you down. I’m not seeing any boys so maybe she doesn’t even allow coed swimming among siblings. I bet the boys don’t have to swim in long underwear either. They played in a public storm drain ditch.... She probably won’t do it, because the last time she took them to a pool at an RV park, the managers yelled at her to get her kids in their street urchin clothes out of the pool because it wasn’t appropriate and they were probably bringing debris into the pool.I guess bathing suits aren’t allowed for girls in the Rodd household. Also swimming in a storm drain is retarded. It does have raw sewage runoff in it and they are dangerous when the water is high after a storm. I doubt any of those kids are strong swimmers, but nobody can swim in long wet dresses anyway.
It’s not like there’s no non-sewage swimming options available in Ohio. Apparently Jill can take the girls down to the crisis pregnancy center, but not to a lake or public pool so they can swim in clean water that won’t pull them through a drain system.
They do make “modest bathing suits” for religious women, Mormons and Muslims certainly wear them. But lol at Jill spending money on that when they can just wear any of their $2 used dresses from Goodwill to swim in.She probably won’t do it, because the last time she took them to a pool at an RV park, the managers yelled at her to get her kids in their street urchin clothes out of the pool because it wasn’t appropriate and they were probably bringing debris into the pool.
of course, she was mad because she thought they were discriminating them because of their MaHDestY!!
Funny enough, the boys did too. Looks like they were at a park, saw the storm drain and said fuck it let's swim.

Exactly. Cant imagine how heavy it is to swim in a wet denim skirt. Having one of th e kids clothing snag on a branch and dragged under. They do make “modest bathing suits” for religious women, Mormons and Muslims certainly wear them. This is a terrible photo; the lady looks like she hates this shirt.
Knowing Jill, the kids probably had little choice about "playing" in the sewage runoff water. Jill gets ideas about what sounds fun to her, then makes the kids act it out or else. Then Jill can photograph the kids doing whatever she dreamed up and take all the credit for the, uh, joy her slaves are experiencing. They played in a public storm drain ditch.... Phillip turned 18. He looks like a skeleton, and he was permitted to pose with a slice of cake. But no eating, Phillip! Notice that Jill was up posting to Facebook at one in the morning, because the girls will do all her work tomorrow and everyday so Sweet Mama can sleep in.

I still can't figure out wtf they plan to do with that bizarre roof. I see no sign of a staircase, but it's got to be a weirdly shaped second floor room, right?

He's literally skin over bone in the face; it makes his forehead look enormous (that and the early onset balding that seems to plauge her blonder sons).Damn hes very skinny especially in the face.

One of my parents grew up in a town dominated by the Amish. My immigrant grandparents were very Not Amish. Unlike the Rodrigues' and their fundie ilk, that Amish community lived their beliefs:
They didn't proselytize or recruit.
They didn't mix politics with religion, or vote.
They never took any funds from the government, except maybe for handicapped kids.
They didn't have modern tech, but they were not ignorant of it. They didn't hide it from their kids, either. Rumaspringa was encouraged, and most kids really did come back for the social ties and community.
My family had nothing in common with them, but they did business together. Because of the most American value: capitalism!
