The only political message I have

One time I went to my doctor to complain about writing garbage on the internet. There and then he diagnosed me as a journalist; at that point he bent me over the table and prodeeded to pull a butt plug out my butt. At that point my mind changed and k no longer had thoughts about writing click bait garbage for advertisers and faggots alike.

said Ginder, who identified as nonbinary, shared that they were having trouble with bullying online, though didn't explicitly name Kiwi Farms.
If they’re wanting to look at online harassment they should start with Twitter, nearly every story I hear about has people getting death threats and harassment from users on that site, not Kiwifarms.

I am convinced that online and even offline discourse (Especially on news programs) would Improve if Twitter disappeared.

I find the disscusion of whether Byuu is dead or not irrelevant and a distraction on multiple levels. Does anyone honestly think that if we turned up unshakable proof that he was alive tomorrow that it would ever be mentioned by the news media at all? Do you think it would shake the faith of any leftist reading journalist lies? I can tell you it wouldn't. The narrative is he's dead, and he will remain dead no matter what happens, and trying to say he isn't is a flaccid and ineffective argument.

If he killed himself, so fucking what? No one in his thread or this site as a whole has done anything wrong. Criticism of disgusting, dramatic weirdos is neither a crime nor morally wrong. Neither is making fun of or laughing at said weirdos. The world is not and should not be a permanent daycare where everyone has to be "nice".

There is a reason why freedom of speech was the first and foremost right defined in the Bill of Rights. It's because European nobility silenced speech, often humourous and insulting speech that made fun of them, to control people. Weaponizing self harm is a tactic used by abusive people, and Byuu, like all trannies, was an abusive narcissist who used the threat of killing himself to try to silence and control others. His mental health was not the responsibly of Null, the individual users in his thread, or the site as a whole. The people like this journalist who support the idea that we should not be allowed to speak or face punishment if we do because some unhinged piece of shit might off themselves because they can't handle the fact that not everyone sucks their ass are abusive, no diffrent than the nobility of old, and should be shot in the head and their offices burnt to the ground.
The one person this would blow up on are Byuu and Hector

If I recall correctly there was an interview Tucker Carlson did with Gavin McInnes ages ago where Tucker basically admitted he could not and would not say anything that Fox didn’t approve of on some level because it was his job and this extended well past his TV show. Gavin mocked him for it a little bit. This was kind of eye opening for me because prior to that Tucker was one of the very few Pundits I respected. I mean I do still watch a few Youtubers and there’s a local Radio Personality I’ll listen to from time to time. However network news is something I just avoid outright at this point.
Its unfortunate. If anyone who wants a platform on major media to spread the unadulterated truth even they will have to tow the line to some degree.

Glenn Greenwald, Matt Taibi, Jimmy Dore are my go-tos

Journos of today and really reprehensible. To me, they seem the type to look down on the blue collared working class as unintelligent, while they view themselves as the intelligent. Since they think the masses are so underneath them in cognitive ability, they need to control or make up the truth to shape society in their heavily flawed utopia vision. While, ironically the blue collared worker has more of an understanding of how the world actually works because they continuously labor and survive through it. With this suffering comes wisdom and experience. Making a mistake with limited resources out in the country is more devastating than spilling a mocha from Starbucks on your designer jeans. Journos of today and even young adult city slickers do not realize the vast technologic advancements have made their life easy with out a real struggle. Simply, they do not realize the shade they enjoy on behest of the work of others. They really are completely spoiled.
Many of the barely make minimum wage.

Just thinking back to the Near thread when I was told that contacting employers wouldn’t help.

Why didn’t the reporter confirm this with the embassy? That’s standard operating procedure.
C-Can anyone do that?

Byuu, this you?
No.
That's clearly Grima Wormtongue.

As I’ve stated before, unless connected to a crime or a high profile incident, police will not speak about random deaths — especially to journalists. Journalists in Japan really do not have a lot of the access to government officials or police like they do in other countries.

Did you know there's a guy dressed up as godzilla who has been going around raping businessmen in japan? It's almost an urban legend at this point but my friend in *redacted* has seen at least a hundred hundreds salaraymen raped on their way home from work.

Please sir connect with with msn. This important. No one is going to tell you it happened but don't worry, japan very much secret, so news big story here.

To say that the media are treated like gods by a credulous public and are allowed to lie flagrantly right to people’s faces with no consequences whatsoever is to understate the severity of the problem.

Laws against governments propagandizing against their own people have been maliciously repealed. Journalists can say whatever they like, with impunity. Anything you say in your defense can be run past armies of faceless and unaccountable “fact-checkers” who may have undeclared conflicts of interest. Our media is owned by a shrinking number of mega-conglomerates formed through merger after merger and captained by self-interested oligarchs who steer their overall messages, with feckless and captive governments failing to put forth anti-trust suits to break their monopolies. Intelligence services worldwide have invested millions of dollars and thousands of trained personnel into flooding the internet with disinformation, rumors, scandalous material, and incendiary politics, just to confuse, anger, and mislead the citizens of other countries, who are the actual targets of concentrated and persistent psychological warfare aimed at making us all miserable, desperate, and afraid in the hopes that we cling to tyranny as a salve for our fear.

The government and media have failed in their basic fucking functions of keeping people safe, secure, and informed. In fact, they have failed so profoundly at these things for so long, it is laughable for anyone to even suggest that they ever served those functions in the first place. Our governments operate like protection rackets. Essentially, they are organized criminal syndicates aimed at protecting the wealth and clout of a small cadre of rich psychopaths and bullying the rest of us into compliance.

They wish to stamp out freedom of speech specifically to keep people from recognizing this fact, and to maintain the illusion that politics is a sport and nations are like teams of athletes.

Love or hate Hunter S. Thompson, he was spot on here:
The press is a gang of cruel faggots. Journalism is not a profession or a trade. It is a cheap catch-all for fuckoffs and misfits—a false doorway to the backside of life, a filthy piss-ridden little hole nailed off by the building inspector, but just deep enough for a wino to curl up from the sidewalk and masturbate like a chimp in a zoo-cage.

I have actually used USA Today as toilet paper while in Basic Die-for-Israel-Training oh so many years ago. It was very uncomfortable, and I wrote a letter to the editor expressing my discontent. FYI, still had lots of poo left over, which was an unpleasant surprise on laundry day.

You are not an important person. Do not speak as if you are. If you do not know if someone is dead do not report as if they are. Make it very clear that it's unconfirmed.

Who died and made you Queen of England? Stating facts about laws and procedures in a particular country has nothing to do with thinking one is “important.” That’s all I’ve done.

What you describe is a crime. If such a crime was occurring and the Japanese police had a string of victims AND belief the public was at risk, that information would be made known.

Committing suicide is not a crime with additional risk to the public. There is no need for police violate Japan’s privacy laws to reveal information about a run-of-the-mill suicide by a person of zero consequence. He’s not a Japanese celebrity.

Get over it. You’re not going to get the information you all so fervently desire from Japanese authorities.

>died by suicide

Anyone who uses this phrasing should do a flip off a cliff. Seriously. Nobody "dies from suicide," they commit suicide. It's an act of choice, bullying or no.

It’s actually the way the AP styleguide requires reporting on suicide. If a reporter writes something else (ie committed suicide) and their publication follows AP style, it will get changed by whomever is in charge.

You'd think they'd pay more attention to this and similar guides from Samaritans and other suicide prevention groups. By going on and on about how great and respected Byuu apparently was (is?) and blaming the Farms for his (unconfirmed) suicide and having calls to action, it tells readers that committing suicide is a good way to get people to do what you want after you die. It only encourages copycats or depressed people who think that at least they might accomplish some good when they die, and gives them the extra motivation to go through with necking themselves.
What they should say is something like "Byuu has reportedly died by suicide", not go into details of the method or claim any specific reasons for it, definitely not quote the note or any messages he left, just leave it at that. Or "after losing his battle with mental illness" or something like that if they want.

People can say we encourage suicide or school shooters etc but it's quite the opposite, we don't glorify suicide or murder. That one guy who shot up a supermarket school, everyone called him "Couch Cuck" and ripped the piss out of him, they didn't encourage or lionise him.

edit: had my Columbine fan mongs mixed up, I was thinking of Randy Stair. Who also still gets mocked on here.

Unfortunately, you can see it for free on Yahoo News.
My friend Bayou killed zhimself after intense harassment from USA Today. I called and confirmed this with the America police. They must be stopped. I demand the immediate firing and cancellation of every person who ever worked for that evil publication. No further questions will be answered and all who enquire will be blocked.

If Twitter was nukes from the face of the earth then how will Boogie pat himself on the back with a sock account? How will animal rapists be able to communicate?

There is an echo in this - and other threads - that just isn't ringing true if one really looks into it.

I entirely get the flavor going on - but comparing one set of journalists to another is the same as comparing anyone in the medical field as all being capable of giving medical advice. This journalist Alia at USA Today spat out a piece handed to her and it is pretty much verbatim from other crap we've seen. So what, we now compare and say Alia's credentials and up there with a Pulitzer Prize winning journalist? I checked into her, she's a "wellness" blogger and only qualifies as a journalist b definition because some people have published her garbage in some back-columns.

There are papers and journalists that take a hell of a lot of time to verify stories and do immense investigation. And there are other journalists that will - and do - say anything.

Putting them all into the same bucket is an obvious mistake.

The same guys that have forums dedicated to the evils of women who will show half a million examples of poor behavior from women do not confirm and prove all women are that way - no matter how many examples they can drum up - and we often attack these guys for it.

And we often hold those men accountable by saying to them they should stop looking for women that live in the gutter. Some people could do the same from deciding to pay for good journalism and finding better sources rather than taking the free journalism that often does come with strings attached - we have gutter journalism ands it is pretty obvious.

There are good sources of science and history (most universities) and there are bad sources (Internet sites on Egypt, David Icke, anything the History Channel promotes), there are good sources of Indian Food and bad. Good and bad sources of everything.

If you can't tell the difference then the real problem is from the observer - not the source.
