I didn't notice that. I know we're like 45 minutes in and they're mostly fucking around. Vei seemed nervous, Zen made her do her introduction over.
 
So the GMOD collab is a disaster.

My initial thought was 'they should have ironed out the creases beforehand' but apparently they spent the last 2 hours before the collab making sure it all worked and it did, so it's not really something that can be helped.

It's gotten a little better now that they've left the in-game proximity voice chat back to Discord so there aren't huge chunks of total silence, but still. They all seem to be chill with it.

That's what happens when you refuse to drop the TTS and it's monotone/delay. Honestly they'd probably do fine if they just ditched it; would get rid of all but the most hardcore coomers and draw a shitload of attention/views to do so. It's not like there aren't guy-with-girl-avatar vtubers out there already, and Zen has a big enough community to make the jump mostly unscathed.

Yeah, I've said before that, he claims he doesn't use it because he doesn't want to be doxxed but both Zen and his girlfriend's voices are out there so his reasoning doesn't make sense unless he's a guy. He pretty much admits it and if he wanted to prove us all wrong, he'd just start using voice. Also, not a Zen fan but the bunny girl avatar was better than the dragon girl one is.

Also, I'm watching on Finana's end and I sat through like 10 minutes of dorito munching.

Does that waste of a design even stream anymore? The last time I saw them was during Hana's Fall Guys zatsudan months ago, and they basically just lurked in chat and made the usual "lol im gay lol" anti-humor.

The part of this that kills me is there are multiple trans/non-binary vtubers that don't act like complete fucking speds and actually contribute to the community, particularly CatMech and their free assets that have been used by people from all over the Vtuber community, yet Artemis, with a near universally liked model/character design, somehow has less personality than Zentreya, who communicates via TTS of all things.
