Please don't kill me, but I looked and I haven't seen this posted yet. I am not on twitter, but I followed an earlier link and stumbled on this.
What does it mean? If this is old news, please disregard.
EDIT: I went back to the page I screenshotted to get more info, and now this is gone...
Ah yes, an amazing feeeeeeeemale, in extremely Ferengi voice.
The “and yes I am a guy” bit at the end had me howling. Not only stupidly unprofessional-sounding, but also sounding exactly like a man whimpering for the tiny chance of banging said new feeeeemale.
I also fucking love how condescending he sounds: “Isn’t it nice to see the little ladies with their big fancy diplomas, working together with other women instead of crying or cat-fighting in the hot tub, as I assume all females do constantly?”
And then, just when he’s done insulting the women, he insults the men with “and yes, I am a guy” at the end to point out that HE has very progressive views about women and you don’t! Clearly you don’t, because he had to go out of his way to assure you that he complimented a woman on something other than her looks
even though he’s a guy. Other men would never do that. That’s why you were aghast when he admitted he was a man.
He wraps it all up neatly by insulting the world at large with the bit about how REWARDING it is to see women coming together to support a cause.
It’s not heartening, humbling or inspiring.
It’s REWARDING. Because Russ is taking the credit for it. Like how rewarding it is to finally see your doggie learn a new trick you worked so hard to teach him. Look at this little female who wants to help my cause! It is so
rewarding to see how much I inspire her. I am such a good person for letting her do this.
Like this woman would never,
ever end up supporting other women’s causes without the benevolent Russell Greer giving her the chance to do so. She should be so grateful. No, more grateful. Grateful with your
mouth, sweetheart. Hang on a tic while Russ’ stubby fingers struggle to unzip him. You want that college credit, don’t you?
