hepatitis is just "inflammation of the liver" and it can be a caused by non-alcoholic fatty liver,
So this is my question: if Chins already has elevated liver enzymes as a result of her SNAFLD, would a diagnosis of hepatitis be significant? Would it suggest that her liver condition has worsened significantly to require some kind of different treatment? Because her present condition needs to be addressed, and to my thinking would remain a priority, unless the doctor just wants to establish how bad it really is. Even then--and maybe I'm confused because of the term "hepatitis" itself--I would expect her to test for liver inflammation, not hepatitis specifically--unless there was an external cause.
We're probably just arguing semantics at this point, but the fact that Chins didn't say, "They want to biopsy my liver" or "they want to test for damage or inflammation" seems significant to me somehow. She said hepatitis. Why would a doctor test for hepatitis when we already
know she has inflammation of the liver? Back to my original question.
We don't know that for sure, that's why I said I think.
Whoa gorl, we're all just speculating here. I just used your comment to challenge a widely held belief.
What you're saying could absolutely be true, regardless of whether Chins confessed to cocaine abuse, or overeating, or excessive THC use, or a heart condition. She would still have family checking up on her, asking if she's okay, all of that. In fact, I think it's odd there isn't more obvious involvement from her family, which is part of why I think it's possible she confessed to a lesser crime, so to speak.
Why would they let her go home after a
day? Even that peaks my curiosity.
I'm not saying I'm right; I'm just offering an alternative. One that isn't predicated on Chins telling the truth, which I think we would all agree is highly unlikely.
ETA I've already said this, but as it seems to have slipped through some radars: IF anyone contacts her family and mentions drug use to which Chins has not confessed, that does not mean the family suddenly knows something they didn't before. If they don't just dismiss it out of hand (because honestly, that would be easier) and they do confront her about it, she just has to do what she does best: LIE.
"It wasn't cocaine,
Mommmm, it was too much cheese. Jesus
Christ. People are
lying, obviously. They just want to start drama."
"It was just
edibles, Mom. Big deal. They're
legal in Canada. I just took a little too much and freaked out. I'm
fine."
"What?! You believe
them over
me? Maybe ask me about these stupid rumors first. I can't believe you've been listening to the haydurs instead of your own
daughter."
"I could have had a heart attack and you're seriously asking me about snorting cocaine? Don't you
care about me? I can't even find a vei--I mean, how could I snort cocaine will all of my health conditions? It's just
allergies, Jesus!"
She could literally use the same bullshit lines she's been using on her chat for the last three months. And what's her family going to do--argue with her?
