I will play devil's advocate for Josh's position. Josh has spent most of his adult life on the site and on the Internet as a whole and he has seen many people fuck themselves over by oversharing. Do any of you honestly believe that any of the people who are catalogued here would have been better off by posting more of their lives? His world view is through the lens of the many retards that are featured here.

We all know that if Josh posted his gunt Ralph, Gaytor and the insane people who follow him will spend the next 10 years pouring every last pixel and it will be used as ammunition against him. I know it's not the end of the world to be embarrassed, PPP showed his asshole on stream and he seems to be fine, but I'm sure that he would agree that showing the pink starfish brought a lot of headache into his life.

Personally my issue isn't that Josh doesn't have a point but that he put his foot in his mouth by even talking about doing this at all. After all, he does have a point. Remember what the "HE WILL NOT DIVIDE US" flag saga proved:

He said that if he could wear a mask and MAGA hat or something he would go through with it. He also said that he fully suspected Ralph to renege or cheat the minute he got a picture of Null, and he was prepared for that outcome too. This was on his MATI podcast stream, and its where PPP seemingly got his retort about "Josh doesn't want to do anything fun", because it's what he had said about Ralph.
Then Ralph turns out to be a dog killer and Josh retracts his competition idea. Good on him.
But then PPP decides he wants to do a goofy competition with Null and Null completely rescinds his previous compromise he was willing to make for Ralph.

I get why he'd rescind, because whatever fun pics are posted between the fun with him and PPP, those pics will be public and therefore become content for GUNT FEEDER, THE DOG EATER. Null doesn't want to inadvertently give Ralph content. However, Null already has given him content by mentioning this idea to begin with and then backing out with PPP. Yes, his offer was prior to Ralph being outed as a dog killer but it was not prior to literally everything else we know about Ralph. Null knew better. Now it just gives the same vibes that Chaggot gave when he refused to arm wrestle Baked and decided to get slapped instead, thinking that was the more dignified outcome. The better choice was never to start this in the first place.

Of course the alternative is that Null always intended to back out as part of a bigger plan. He made the competition offer for Ralph only because he already knew he had the dog dirt on him. He planned on exposing Ralph's animal cruelty and backing out in order to make himself look good and emphasize Ralph's psychopathy. Everything was going exactly as Josh planned until PPP comes bullrushing in with a cheeky grin shouting about having fun together, unwittingly ruining Null's Light Yagami moment.
I don't think this is the case since I doubt Null is a Dark Tetrad. But what do I know? I don't even play Smash.

TL;DR If you're living like you're in Witness Protection don't volunteer to put yourself in the spotlight. I respect our doggo leader's decision but the jokes are well earned since he never should've started this considering his perpetual danger.

So I wasn't mistaken. The reason PPP got so excited and wanted to get pics of Josh after posting pics of himself is because Josh already said he would do that for Ralph. He didn't say "I'll think about it". He said he would do it and repeated himself. The information about Ralph's height, BMI etc. would be private. The only thing we would get out of this is Ralph's overall weight. That's it. Any kiwi thinking we'd get a full work-up of Ralph from this is wrong. It was literally just Josh doing a video and then getting a weight comparison after six months.

I bet PPP even feels a bit hurt that Josh would do this for such little gain from the Gunt but not do it for him (and then bringing up the asshole thing, etc. ITT).
