It'll probably take a bit longer than tomorrow to do anything serious. The knowledge of it has to spread to home lenders, then they have to decide what to do with it. Many will give final chances, or give the renters a time to vacate. Some will just remove them outright, but it will likely be a minority. It -starts- tomorrow, but expect the real backlash to begin in half a month to a month's time.

I think at this point the lockdowns aren't even about total control anymore in the sense of "live in the pod" I think they're being used as a tool to foment more anger and rage from the covid cult against anyone unvaccinated, who they have conveniently conflated with "anyone who doesn't vote democrat".
History shows us many examples of how that type of mob inciting propaganda usually plays out.

I know quoting one's own posts is a faux pas, but to add to this. This will put a pressure cooker on a -short- fuse. It means the Biden Admin gets one month max to release a lot of societal pressure before things go boom. Expect a lot of activity from the admin, and some sort of strategy to manifest. Assuming even basic competence, stay with me here the competing interest within the admin have to unite on -something-, there will be a lot of dropping stupid shit and a lot more pushing their major ideas.
Will be interesting seeing what the competing interests actually agree on.

That is what came to my mind when I saw the 18 wheeler story. It doesn't sound like a lie to me it sounds like a dementia based story. I've seen old people with it invent intricate stories about how they used to babysit for the Kennedys and outlandish shit like that. Usually they get very defensive when that notion is challenged too because it is very real to them, then they become afraid if their mind reaches the point of contemplating that it might not have actually happened.
On some weirdly empathetic level of mine it's almost a pitiable situation to me. Yes, they clearly packed the press pool and arrange his contacts so he is never face to face with anyone who would challenge the narrative they are trying to push, but they also have to do that because the dude is so frail that he might have a legit breakdown due to the collapse of the house of cards that is his mental reality. As much as I hate him for his role in the deep state for the last several decades and as much as I like to laugh at his stupidity and thinly veiled racism, I still have to feel sorry for a man who literally has to have his alternate reality supported because he may have a pants shitting fit of terror rage in public if it wasn't. Biden is a prisoner in his own body and his access to the keys is waning.
