If all of the punishments for disobedience are predicated on suffering you don't even have the comprehension of, and you don't have a moral compass that even includes the concept of "wrong", how are you supposed to not eventually fuck up and do wrong, when the all-powerful God the Creator let a manifestation of All that is Evil tell you to do exactly that? You have no framework to understand why disobedience is even wrong, or the concept of any of the things you would be punished with... Arguably you wouldn't even understand the concept of being punished.

I expressly didn't reply earlier to avoid a theological spergfest. Let's just say it's a more complex philosophical idea in the story originally expressed in a language so old we weren't even sure we were translating correctly until an ancient lost city (Ugarit) was found in the 1920s of which we're STILL translating all the texts we've found from it.

Which you probably won't hear about on RPGnet because I'm sure some of those old tablets mention slavery.

Bizarrely a responsible intervention you should never ask for medical advice on anon forums. It only took them 156 pages and several years but the mods finally made a good call, we can all go home.

The big thing about these seemingly dissonant bans is they don't want people to go mask-off about what they really believe. The more blatant people are about their hatred the harder it is to keep heat off the website and keep up the lie that the Left is the civil side/right side of history.

You could extrapolate that out to anything, both coming and going. Obesity, smoking and diabetes for example that are all major killers. Was your BMI too high when you went to a hospital? no insulin for you. Your health is now government business because it's a cost-cutting measure.

The non-trolling answer is that if you're vaccinated, even if you do get infected your T cells should be pre-primed against the disease and bum rush it before it can get established. So in addition to a reduced chance of infection, you have a reduced chance of being affected if you do get infected. "Immunity" is an overly-simplistic concept when you're dealing with a system of trillions of cells and dozens of organs.

I mean, this guy who calls himself "God" and assures you he's infinitely good, just, merciful and that he created everything, what proof do you have he's not lying? God himself wrote the "proof" on how good he is and it's pure evil to disobey him. It sounds like something a parent would say, not an alien entity outside of our capability to understand who might not even be aware humans exist. Why would God want humanity to stay ignorant?

To shorten entire libraries of answers, the Christian answer is that God at least came down among humans and lived by His own rules showing He does believe in them.

Also in regardsto the garden mankind would have one day eaten of the tree of knowledge when they were ready. The problem in Genesis is that your parents tried to shortcut the hard work and ate before they were ready.
