Chris belonged in an inpatient mental health facility a long time ago. Barb obviously belonged in an old folks home. In a society where the only people who seem to care about a mentally unwell man are a bunch of speds (myself included) on the internet is a fucked society. Much like Stone-Man Warrior, the community and local government couldn't be fucked dealing with Chris and his bullshit, so they just left it alone until it manifested into something truly horrifying.

The self-righteous cunts rolling their gunts in a tizzy over this somehow being Null's fault or Kiwi Farm's fault are the same self-righteous faggots who laughed right alongside us when Chris was caught by Bob masturbating or when he flipped out at a GameStop. It should not be Null's prerogative to make sure that mentally unwell Lolcows aren't raping their mothers and it shouldn't be random Kiwis prerogatives to call law enforcement when an obviously mentally unwell man is dying from infection.

Reminds me of Terry A. Davis & all the people who tried to keep him healthy when he was on the streets. When things got sad they tried to be there for him.

Chris has courted attention for over a decade & someone was always going to bite. Getting rid of the "Idea Guys" & giving Chris controlled access to emergency funds is possibly the most positive input he's had in years.

I absolutley in the right (wrong) context could imagine Chris sexually assaulting a female he liked.

I wasn't in the least bit surprised that he drew an autistic version of fantasy/revenge porn of Megan. Gross and disturbing as it is, it's fairly unremarkable for certain kinds of social disorders that aren't contained and controlled.

I've not found it surprising at all that Chris has a weak understanding of the needs and feelings of others.

But this is so primal. Like you yourself, I wouldn't have been surprised to log in today and find out he'd touched up some young woman. But Barbara herself is so far gone, either as a creep or to illness as well as Chris, we've ended up here?

I know it sounds theatrically dramatic, hammy and a-loggy but I'm not even disgusted. I feel mournful that this family has been so deeply failed by society becoming so insular and warped that this tragedy came to be.
