Social Justice Warriors - Now With Less Feminism Sperging

What if they went back to the original Greek Olympics style: no clothes?

(the reaction by everyone around the world - woke or not - could be entertaining)

(also it was men only in the original games)
Women couldn't participate in the original olympics (well, noblewomen could enter their horses, but they couldn't ride them themselves). In the Heraea, though, they wore a dress-thing, and in normal women's sports they still wore a bikini-thing and a strophion.

Update featuring today's (syndicated) New York Times crossword:

32 Across: Its members were collectively awarded Time magazine's 2017 Person of the year: MEETOOMOVEMENT
35 Across: Unearned advantage based off sex: MALEPRIVILEGE

It wasn't a themed puzzle and the author was a man, Scott Earl, although there's a lot of back-patting about encouraging women into the profession. [ archive https://archive.md/PI3bT ]

There were also clues about a WNBA player, the first woman to earn a doctorate in science, Celia Cruz and Bridget Riley. I'm not saying the crossword is too woke to enjoy; I'm saying that it is woke enough that these little shits have nothing to complain about.

(There was also a fun pun about ham and a clue about acorns that I believe is factually incorrect. Acorns are not a "tough nut to crack" as anyone who has done crafts with them will tell you. You can slice those fuckers with an X-acto knife. I'm not autistic enough to write in about it... yet.)
Something about this struck a chord with me. I'm not a crossword person myself, but the idea of Social Justice infiltrating a hobby as relatively obscure as crosswords seemed strange to me. I did some research, and Scott also made a Pride month-related thing for Universal Crosswords (relevant portion at the bottom).

And sure enough, there's a Twitter thread about this Pride Month thing Universal is running from David Steinberg, an editor at Universal (who has pronouns in his Twitter bio, because of course he does).

Mr. Steinberg mentions in his thread something called "Queer Qrosswords." What, pray tell, is that? Well, they're a group of people who think that the current state of crossword puzzles isn't diverse enough. If you donate $10 to one of a few gay charities (including, funnily enough, the ACLU. How far the mighty have fallen), you can have your very own pozzword book, produced by the Queer Qrosswords team.

On their site, Queer Qrosswords makes sure to mention all the fawning press they've received, including an article in Time magazine on the diversity of crosswords. According to Time magazine, the hobby of crosswording as a whole is generally a white people thing. Who would have thought? And of course, there have been calls for change in the crossword industry, because the entire thing is OLD and RACIST.

After all this research, I'm ready to conclude that crosswording has been well and truly infiltrated by Social Justice crap. This certainly isn't as bad as some of the other things I've seen on this thread or this site, but it's disturbing that you can just pick a random thing (in this case, crosswording) and find examples of how lousy it is with SJWs ready to remake it in their own image.

I see the Minnesota Defund campaign is going great. Only thing the headline doesn't specify is if the jogger in question is a dune coon, or just a mentally unstable jogger, since beheading is very much an Islamist aesthetic.

I thought it was this decapitation, I read about yesterday ..

It’s that time again for Twitter weirdos to act like a children’s movie from 2004 is anti-capitalist/ACAB or whatever.

And yet that scene is just a parody of COPS shows, where the criminals are the gag. Also they left out the "white bronco" joke.

The post that Lil Nas X is replying to really strikes me as interesting. If you look at most media, it's almost always the white guy who is portrayed as bad with women, meek, uncool, stupid, etc. I'll side with the turbo gay here just because of the seethe he has produced.
Lil Nas X did get called out for misogyny in that video, as well as homophobia for even letting an aggressively straight scene make it in. It's interesting that disagreement within the Black community is showing that gay shit wins out over internalized racism or misogyny.

Don’t liberal women want to get rid of the death sentence and install rehabilitation centers for criminals instead? I don’t understand how they can be all for that when they get raped, murdered, and beheaded by complete monsters, or do they mean certain criminals shouldn’t get death sentences like robbers or weed dealers? Because it blows my mind how they can be against death sentences no matter what heinous crimes someone has committed, I mean don’t they want justice? Or am I missing something?
This frustrates me too. These same people complain about injustice, yet they also ironically encourage more of it. They're so deluded by their ideology that they'll even give a free pass to injustice when it happens to them! I reiterate: They're either too stupid to know right from wrong or too evil to care. It's a sad day when you see feminists insisting that a rapist, who you'd think they're against, should NOT be punished because of social justice! We're in Clown World alright.

Well, they just got done with Scrabble in April, so I guess idle hands being the devil's playground, etc.

Optical illusion shows viewers a colour they’ve ‘never seen before’

The owners of the beloved board game Scrabble have banned a long list of words players are no longer allowed to use, prompting furious debate.

The banned list includes words considered to be racial or ethnic slurs, including “n*****”, “Shiksha (a derogatory Jewish term), “Paki”, and “Fenian” (an Irish republican).

The word “bitch” is allowed because it can refer to a female dog.

The word f****t is also allowed to remain because the word also means a bundle of sticks.

Scrabble is owned by two companies, Hasbro (in North America) and Mattel (in the rest of the world, including Australia.)

More than 200 dictionary words have been removed from the Scrabble lexicon in the past year or so.

There is no definitive list of banned words, but online Scrabble websites allow players to type in a word to see if it can be used.
Mixed response

While many have applauded the removal of the use of racist slurs, some prominent members of the global Scrabble players’ organisation have complained, saying any word still listed in a dictionary should be used.

British author Darryl Francis resigned from the World English-Language Scrabble Player’s Association, saying Mattel had “forced” changes on the game.

Agreeing to go into someone’s bedroom does not mean you have agreed to sex, the woman said.

“We looked at some of the social unrest that’s going on globally,” Mattel’s global head of games said.

“I’ve heard the argument that these are just words, but we believe they have meaning.”

In Australia, some racially offensive words used to denigrate Indigenous Australians do not seem to have been removed from the list.

Indigenous activist Stephen Hagan has submitted a complaint against Mattel to the Australian Human Rights Organisation in an attempt to get a number of offensive words removed.

‘I’ve heard the argument that these are just words, but we believe they have meaning.’

Last year the North American Scrabble Players Association (NASPA) announced it would be removing slurs and other offensive words from its tournaments.

The group decided to remove the slurs after conducting a poll of its members that received more than a thousand passionate responses, NASPA CEO John Chew said in a statement.

Chew said that they decided to remove the words so that the game would be more inclusive.

“How can we in this day tell prospective members that they can only play with us if they accept that offensive slurs have no meaning when played on a board?”, Chew said in the statement.
Sharon Johal added to allegations of on-set racism made by other former Neighbours cast members.
EntertainmentNew racism claims emerge as another Neighbours cast member speaks out

“Some members threatened to leave the association if a single word were removed; others threatened to leave the association if any offensive words remained.

“There were a lot of good and bad arguments on both sides.”
More inclusive

Chew said he loves Scrabble because it brings all kinds of different people together, but said they need to do more to be more inclusive.

“As people have said across the spectrum of responses, removing slurs is the very least that we can do to make our association more inclusive,” he said.

UK player David Webb said the changes had been made to pacify the requests of “middle-class white people.”

“Its actions are seen by many as virtue-signalling, making a token gesture or ‘woke’,” he said.

“Imposing American values on the world is pretty obnoxious.”
I applaud the Irish supremacy of banning "Fenian" but not "faggot" or "bitch."
