You Know What Grinds My Gears? - Things that personally piss you off

9 times out of 10 though when you're on the delayed side you get impatient jackasses laying on the horn and trying to give you a colonoscopy with their bumper
When I still worked at my long-time office, the drive home required me to turn right from a side street onto a divided boulevard. Depending on what I was doing after work, I'd have to turn into the leftmost lane so that I could make a quick left at the first turnaround in the island. I have no idea if it was the same person or not, but I'd occasionally have a black SUV pull up behind me and honk at me when the driver felt I should make my initial right turn because he didn't realize I had to make the quick turnaround. The reason I suspect it was the same person each time is because of both the honking and the fact the driver would also make a quick turnaround -- meaning he or she would have had to wait for all lanes to clear just like I did.

I've also had drivers try to give my car an enema with their front bumper on a street that's notorious for its speed traps at a particular blind curve where cops hide out to strictly enforce the 25 mph (~40 kph) speed limit. Too bad none of them ever got pulled over for following me too closely.

For “current year” I can’t stand everyone freaking out over the Delta varient. I truly don’t give a shit about the pandemic anymore. I ask them, “Hey, if cases are up and deaths are the same when cases were down, isn’t it less dangerous?” and I have family guilt jerking me for going out and living my life even though we’re vaccinated (which I regret doing for the record but I assumed it was going to become mandatory where I live and caved, hopefully I haven’t fucked myself.) I get into heated arguments because they refuse to listen to me and act like I’m going to kill them by acting like a sane adult.

I’ll admit, those videos out of China back in February scared the shit out of me for several months, but once the world didn’t catch on fire (aside from the race riots, of course) I stopped giving a shit. Can’t stand people who claim to be “open minded” and then turn around and act like thinking this will never end and we have to constantly bubble up makes my blood boil.

Also alcoholics who constantly have to talk about their alcoholism. No one cares that you feel accomplished for being unable to drink a brew like every other human being with an ounce of self control. Same with fat people who lose 5 lbs and are still 30+ lbs overweight. Congrats, you finished a mile at a walking pace, you’ve disabled yourself in the love of Little Debbie snacks, Christ.

People who have side conversations during meetings/classes. It's PTSD from basic training in the army, nothing will bring a drill sergeants wrath down like talking to your buddy as the DS is explaining how to pull the pin on grenades.

I remember in the Leftist Memes thread, some idiot posted an obvious satire meme made by /pol/, I rated him autistic and called him out on it and he started sperging. I don't mean "I called him a mean word and he called me a mean word back, how could this happen?", I mean a MATI-tier response, going through my profile and rating some of my old posts autistic in threads he otherwise didn't interact with at all, and after leaving the site for a few months, the first thing he does when he comes back is comment on a weeks-old post on my profile.
Some people need to just move on...

I had my account stalked for no less than six straight months by a tard like this...revenge-negged at every turn. Even the ignore function wasn't enough to keep the bullshit at bay.

Ended up threadbanned by some Hebrew jannie when I finally had enough and blasted the tard on the thread.

All's well that ends well.

It's more of an annoyance-excessive tattoos. I find it tacky in both sexes, but particularly trashy in women. If they've got a couple here and there, whatever. Fine. But when they cover both arms and most of the torso, I just find it trite and a good indication that her personality is lacking. And that she's likely a slut.

Salty about when this black guy approached me while I was downtown with friends and asked me for change. Felt generous so I gave him the $2 I had on me (don't normally carry cash). This dude violently grabbed my hand and yelled out how chinks like me carry lots of money and should give out to black people more. Bitch I gave you change, you should be lucky I gave you any at all. I'm broke too, just wanted to be nice.

I must get this out of my system.

The whole concept of customer service and the so-called service industry pisses me off. There is too much fucking emphasis on the idea of service! It's so commonplace that no wonder our society thinks it's entitled to it! It doesn't even feel like a noble or positive idea anymore. On top of that, most people don't appreciate it when they get service. Worse yet, this mentality is encouraged by goverments and corporations. Then there's the fact we're in current year status. The whole institution is awful from top to botton.

My neighbor's dog is an old blind little mutt and I hate that she spends most of the day outside in their shitty backyard. She has an igloo doghouse but she usually just sits by the back door waiting to come back inside because she's probably bored and hot because it can get to the fucking 90s and 100s over the summer and fall here. Sometimes I toss treats over the fence for her to sniff out and find, just so she has something to do out there. They used to have another dog out there with her, but he died a few months ago (which might have been related to how he'd get all sorts of cysts around his face and they'd wait months before taking him to the vet).View attachment 1527115
One of these days, I'm gonna work up the courage to just kidnap her. It's just so depressing to see her out there.
Update from my second account bc I'm a retard and deleted my old kiwi mail

I got to give her a bath! I was washing my mom's little dogs and asked the neighbors if she wanted a little spa day. They said yes and we got to get to know each other a bit afterwards. Thankfully she doesn't have fleas or anything, just a bit of dry skin. :)
