its not exactly based considering that even if you get hired the first week of August. you might not start til the 2nd or 3rd week...then lining of paycheck info could take an extra week and that's with a smoothe onboarding company...not the minimum wage job most people are looking at.

Pretty much, yeah. The days of walking into a place and having a new job at the end of that day are just about over, if ever they were. Heck, I had to go through two rounds of interviews for my current job - I wouldn't have been able to do it if I hadn't been working.

I honestly don't think I'm joking or exaggerating..my family is well off enough for me to keep a level head. I've also been able to travel around the country during Quarantine...The cities are BAD. The homeless crisis is the unseen crisis. The hardest hit areas will be obviously population dense areas. People are also lazy and coast when they can...who can blame them? I'm curious how future renters will view those people who chose not to pay their rent for 18 months as well. "Why were you evicted?" I spent my stimmy and 30k+ unemployment income on toys and vidya. I got a sweet flatscreen too.

My mom got on that gravy train starting immediately when it happened, and when it came time to pay her taxes she was shocked how much money she got because she pissed all of it away. When I asked her how she spent 2400+ a month she couldn't give me an answer, and this is someone who isn't a drug addict too. She also paid her rent and bills too, so she wasn't a complete dipshit.
