Always makes sense to remain skeptical until more details come out, but I sort of disagree here with the lying. Yes Chris lies, but Chris also OVERSHARES, a key trait with autistic people. Most of the shit that came out about him came from his own admission in public videos or DMs. They were not lies, they were real things he did.
Add onto that oversharing trait, you have excessive detail, which in his case was usually true, and fully demonstrated in his 9 minute audio recording here.
Its possible its a complete lie, but unlikely. We should wait for the elder abuse evaluation and see what that shows. I think its likely there was a troll egging him on that encouraged this, but ultimately he is the one who (potentially) went through with it and did the deed.
If somehow this ends up being a lie (or they cant prove abuse), it still is a turning point for Chris. Social workers are going to evaluate everything now. Could see him or Barb put into assisted living or something else.
