If I understand correctly, this account basically confirms this was initially Chris' idea and actions but was further encouraged by a troll for "epic lulz". I truly can't see someone not going to prison, this just has to be a multitude of felonies.

Barb is a mentally ill wreck of a human being who needed psychiatric help back in her 20s, never mind by the time chris was born. But she's an elderly woman suffering from dementia, and nobody deserves what is happening to her.

No one deserves what happens to Barb, or to get their money stolen like that by Chris so he can go shopping at a mall. It's all incredibly fucked up.

I know back when I was under the impression that Barb and Bob when he was still kicking had access to Chris's account and Barb would steal from Chris to splurge on hoardables. Any info on when that changed? I'm assuming it's been sometime within the past 5 or so years.

Chris is terrible but I still can't shake the feeling that he's essentially just repeating stuff Barb has done for years. Abusive family patterns tend to repeat themselves and Barb has a documented history of doing questionable shit long before she got dementia.

I feel the same way. Barb stole from him so it’s not surprising he did it back. It also made me wonder if Chris was abused in a similar fashion… Barb is still a victim but if Barb and Bob were better parents it wouldn’t have gotten to this point.

I think Cole would have some pretty valuable insight into all this especially if it becomes a criminal case. I know he doesnt want to get involves but if it becomes criminal would there be any way for investigators to force him to at least agree to an interview?

I think he could be quite insightful but I don’t blame him from staying away from the mess. I am curious as to what he thinks on this… If I were him I’d feel a mix of anger, guilt, shame, and concern.

At this point you have to assume he wants to go to jail. He could easily ask you for advice or say “hey am I allowed to do this given the circumstances”. The fact that he doesn’t ask for advice shows he doesn’t want to be saved.

Not really, he is just a narcissist and a pos. He has always been like that too. He is truly just incapable of empathy or seeing his own wrong actions. Sure he may be "autistic", but as time has gone by he only acts more deranged and I think it's all for the pathetic chance at getting laid.
