It has to really hurt his ego to know he's in the same ballpark as someone like chris chan in the eyes of the vast majority of the internet. That alone should give him some perspective but his ego and the gin help him hide from this reality.

Institutionalized? I dunno seems like going too far, even as someone who hates narcs. The thing with narcissists is that while they are some of the hardest people with personality disorders to even consider treatment because they think they are perfect so they won't do it of their own volition and if someone else suggests they get treatment they'll think that it's a personal attack on them. They're usually not dangerous enough to be thrown in a looney bin, they're usually just complete fucking pricks just like Dave is. Compare that to the other two personality disorders which are hard to convince to get treatment - paranoiacs and paranoid schizophrenics, the former of course thinking that this is some elaborate scheme against them while the latter take it to a whole new fucking level of crazy.

Pigroach does this with everything. Whether or not a game is "fun" is determined by the number of tips received. I think he gets dopamine hits from hitting the tips goal, so in a weird way, it correlates with his overall game experience.

It's pretty simple manipulation of his viewers---if the paypigs don't donate, they ruin all the "fun"---plus it's actually how Phil feels so not like he has to make it up.

I think Papa Burnell really tried to make his autismo narcissistic son into something. I find it very suspicious that Phil,a person that can't follow the most simple of instructions, who can't even cook hamburger helper and eat it without burning his mouth, and who can't even play a game meant for 9 year old's with competence has the intelligence necessary to pass classes like mathematical analysis I and II ( I don't know the name in english ,I'm talking about his university math classes for finance),we also need to remember that if we are to believe him,he was so retarded he couldn't keep up with his computer science classes and yelled at the teacher. Are we to believe that his father,who was a professor in the business part of the university,did not pull strings for his autismo son to graduate? Am I supposed to believe that a man who can't even do addition properly(based of his tips goal errors) passed university level math exams? IMO Phil tried computer science because he heard it pays well,failed miserable,cried to mom and dad about how life is unfair and his dad took care of it by putting him in the business branch of the university and using nepotism to make him graduate.

I have no proof of this of course but I also have no doubts.

He fucked this up by being so bad at it he needed to take work home and he also quit his masters degree (which was being paid by the helicopter company). After seeing that Phil is useless,has a terrible attitude and has no desire to improve they fired him from there too,which means he was fired from every job he ever had. Not even nepotism could save Phil,not even a free university degree and a job where his dad is in a position of importance, if I have to guess his dad has given up on him and his mom is still treating him as his little special boy who dindu nuffin,remember that Phil used to go shopping with his mom every week even when he was in university (imagine a man in his 20s shopping with his mom on a weekly basis,weird), we can only go from what Phil tells us but from what he shared with us he was treated like a child his whole life and has had all of his issues solved by his parents even to the point where his dad had to clean his wakando garage for him because it was such a mess Phil didn't used it since he moved there. This is not an excuse on his behavior btw, he could stop being a lolcow at any time but he was babied and rewarded for bad behavior his whole life (initially by his parents and now by his viewers) so why should he stop being a 39 year old manchild when you keep being rewarded for it and all the haters can be dealt with a LIMB?

Besides Phil being a Major League asshole, I honestly believe Phil is a strong candidate for NPD (narcissistic personality disorder). Does he fall under the Dark Triad? In my fancy college book learnin', I'd say so. I honestly think his parents TRIED to help Dave into becoming a semi-decent person later in life - and I'm sure Papa Pigroach wished he pulled out of Mama Burnell all the time, or at least wore a condom, got a vasectomy, etc....but, I agree that Papa Pigroach and Mama Burnell sheltered Dave from the ghetto they lived in.

Once their little pigroach became the bad attitude idiot we all know today, they released him to the world. Once he learned that his bad attitude wouldn't fly at work, or how Phil calls it, got "screwed over" by the jobs he lost, the last shot was nepotism. Even THAT didn't work and he got "screwed over" by the helicopter company. If my lore is correct, years later, he tried to claim that he designed the computer network, he did ALL these grandiose things to "help the company" and he "got screwed over.", when in actuality, he was taking part orders over the phone and the only thing he did PC wise was turn on the power button to his work computer.

Dave knows as long as his parents are still alive, or until he gets his inheritance and his huff's on that sweet sweet cash, he can always scam them for money *cough, wedding, cough*. I think Phil already has plans on what to do and how to screw over his cousin, if she's getting anything out of the deal from his parents.

Do I see Phil growing up? Unless something DRASTIC happens - I'm talking Earth shattering, life changing changes, such as his health taking a nose dive to the point where dietary changes are needed to save the pig. People have always laughed at him, first for his poor gaming skills, and then for the way he would try to frame a narrative to his liking and make things worse, but ultimately his lack of gratitude is why there is an edge to it all today. I myself got sucked into this vortex because there was so much more to DSP than just being the guy who can't try every button on a controller, but I wouldn't be looking forward to karma uppercutting him were it not for his refusal to put any effort or money into the very thing that gets him what he wants. Or his refusal to stop berating his own fans. When he loses OiC finally, he will learn nothing, just get pissed at the lack of tips. THAT is why I want him to lose everything.
