Why is the association so negative to you? If anything the design and coin have even more symbolic significance. Changing the design would destroy it. You’re no better than the activists who want to tear down statues of the founding fathers because they owned slaves.

The name Kiwi Farms has outgrown Chris. Most who hear the name Kiwi Farms or know of this site's existence do not know it's CWCki Forums origins. No rebranding needed.

Time will tell, but this is the very definition of not aging well. I just hate to see all the tremendous effort over the years get dragged down by this. When the limb goes green you gotta be willing to cut it off.

My observation is that Chris was Josh's personal connection to this site. His ongoing efforts to genuinely try to help the man-thing might have been the only real reason he kept the site going despite the myriad attempts to shut it down. Now that that's gone, the future of this site is even more up in the air. I'd like to think free speech on the interwebs is a strong enough cause, but Josh has told us all he wants to have a family someday and he's getting to be too old for doing more work for fewer shekels.

He's said on stream that he genuinely enjoys it, and if he ever stopped enjoying something, he would stop doing it like immediately. To think if humanity ever dies out, the most documented day to day life of a human that those star traveling fucks are going to have is of Chris. Perhaps Freud's theory will be what aliens think human phycology was actually like. My eight year journey following Chris has left me very sad, still glad I bought half a pound of silver though

Chris's likeness on the coin isn't in any way some sort of greenlight on him raping his senile mother, despite what journalists who demonize the farms might want you to believe.

To me, the Chris side of the coin reads as a nod to the history of the site, but also as a statement on the eccentric, and often horrific actions of many of the cows on this site. Chris's likeness is more of a testament to fact that we farmers will watch these buffoons make fools of themselves online and we will point and laugh, as is our right, while Troon hordes on Twitter will try to campaign for the de-platforming of the site in defense of these cows, no matter how despicable such cows may be.

If anything, the recent news about Chris bolsters the site's importance in cataloging the behavior of these living internet curiosities. His face on the coin has only become more appropriate with his reckoning.
