Successful insanity defenses don't really result in a better outcome than prison anyway. In many ways it's a worse outcome since insanity is largely incurable so your stay in some kind of institution is even longer than it would be if you just went to prison. The only real reason to plead insanity is if you're facing execution, since it's illegal in the US to execute the mentally disabled.

The only surprising thing so far is Chris' lack of activity online today. Not even a single like.. He clearly had internet access without being home, and the malls probably have wifi. How long can he resist?
